Really liked it and thought it was quite useful to get a rough idea (quite accurate overall - except Sheerness to dealer). Certainly builds up excitement and anticipation once you see first images of your car.
So my images never appeared and TYD lost track and I gave up at that point.

The confusion over why the some members have access to TYD seems to have been cleared up and is in line with the screen shot provided above.. However, you may not be too pleased with the reason !

My dealer received an explanation - Porsche have said that "The earlier Cayenne E4 orders are not approved to go live in Track Your Dream. The track your dream only applies to orders with order month 07/2026 (and later). No explanation given of what the relevance is of 07/26 - perhaps the photographer is on extended holiday. I think the reference to order, is when the procurement of order starts as it can't be the initial order placed as the members wouldn't have already received a TYD invite.

Both the dealer and customer service (very helpful lady) confirmed my order is in the system and delivery 10th July is still being reported.

So I visited my dealer then the order locked 3 days after planned. Good enough for me so long as the delivery date doesn't slip appreciably. Weirdly, the dealer told me my delivery is now sometime in July (that's earlier than planned) and the lock date is not real and I can still change configuration for about 3 days. It feels like Porsche are on the crazy pills.
And my order "unlocked" again today. Is Trump running Porsche's production planning?

Not sure what’s going on in Europe with the TYD, but I have an early order (late November) and was just notified that my order just moved to stage 5. Bit of a delay (4 weeks) for the move from 4 to 5, but at least some progress.

This doesn't add up and I think my order is for sure delayed but they're just not admitting it to:
  • Original Order Plan:
    • 5 May lock
    • 14 August deliver to USA
  • Now:
    • 25 May new planned lock date but dealer says "who knows it could happen sooner"
    • 30 June complete production in Slovakia so only 5 weeks between order lock and production completion?
    • 6 July depart port
    • 14 August deliver to dealer in USA so no delay from original plan.
  • Interim
    • April 28ish order locks earlier than planned
    • 2 May order unlocks
    • 7 May order disappears from My Porsche App but dealer says they still see it on their side
    • 8 May order locks for second time
    • 11 May order unlocks for second time
Are Porsche or dealers not admitting real timelines to avoid order cancellations?

Late freeze date seems a little odd but otherwise not unreasonable. Mine froze in early April, build start May, completion by early June with handover in UK beginning from July.

Further updates, my TYD tracker moved from stage 5 (almost ready) to stage 6 (on the truck) in 5 hours. No actual pictures though which is disappointing. Heading to port now.

Nice! My build is late (the projected date of May 11th for completion came and went with no movement), but hopefully they get back on track soon.

Quick update on my side: the build of my Cayenne EV was originally scheduled for May 8, with delivery announced for June 24.
The build date has now been pushed back to May 19, but the good news is that, for now, delivery is still scheduled for June 24.
Fingers crossed
I hope the schedule holds until the end!

CHP & Matt-Taycan - just spoke to a very helpful lady in UK Customer Service. She confirmed as per dealer, the order is firm and on the system. She consulted with a colleague and they confirmed the Cayenne EV is not currently open for TYD which is what the screenshot says. They have sent a request to Porsche and will let me know if any response.

I did a bit of research and came across a common suggestion - since TYD is now supposed to show photographs it appears the mixed line producing EV & ICE Cayenne's, may be the issue. I'll keep in touch on any developments.

At least the cars aren't shipping through the Straits of Hormuz !
Thanks for the update. I did ask my dealer but i very quickly got the impression they didn't really know anything more than me. But i did at least get verbal confirmation that theyve done all they can at their end. Car locked in the system and now we wait.
It's a shame about TYD. I'd definitley like some production pics. Still have my Taycan GTS pics saved. It definitley adds to the whole experience.

If this is anything like the Macan EV launch, it doesn’t matter how early the cars arrive at the dealership because they still need to have the actual “global launch release” first (24th of June for the Cayenne) before any customer deliveries can take place. My Macan was in Sweden and at the dealership for almost a month before they were actually allowed to hand it over to me because of this.
