  1. Received Porsche Driving Experience invitation

I’ve just received my invite to the Porsche Driving Experience. I mention this as it seems a bit unusual as I haven’t paid for the car - just the deposit. I got the invite for buying the ‘Macan’ after I had paid and was an owner. Has anyone else received an invite yet ?
  2. 2026 Cayenne Coupe Electric EV Debut! Specs, Info, Photos, Videos

I’m sure you’ve seen this Top Gear video of the Turbo. Just in case …… I wish there were more Base or S videos - I realise that the 0-60 is very impressive but I very much doubt the majority of cars will be Turbo’s.
  3. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

You may have already seen the earlier posts. If you have ordered a turbo with techno wheels it adds weeks to the delivery.
  4. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

This where TYD would come in handy.
  5. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

Dealer has just called. Their delivery manager is of the opinion the car may be with them end of June
  6. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

Having the VIN means the chassis is allocated to your car and I believe that means the options are attached to that car for the supply chain. Not long now then, which means we'll be able to get some feedback on actual cars by owners and not reviewers. I made my order conditional on a demo drive...
  7. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

I believe some dealers are resistant to provide the VIN until delivery - I would ask for it as a check on the options before the build and then hopefully for in App updates on production saving you having to bother them. As you have reached ‘freeze’ I‘m fairly sure your dealer will have the VIN...
  8. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

Not yet. It's not due to start production in the body shop until 27th May. The time from Eden to Sheerness is only 3 days. Your dealer should have the VIN as you were told build starts in May. Have you asked them for it ? Once you get the VINyou can check the build spec in the App
  9. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

The salesman I am dealing with sourced it and sent it to me. As per last year, when I bought my Macan EV, he provided the same service. It is reassuring to see in the App the spec / options are spot on before the build started.
  10. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

I received my VIN today. Put it in as a new car in the App and sure enough the right spec appeared. It doesn't detail any dates yet. The dealer separately confirmed car is due in the body shop 27th May and delivery is two days earlier on the 8th July. Car is coming into Sheerness. He thinks my...
  11. Cayenne S EV article & video, each worth our time imo…

Also, with plug & charge if it’s a preferred supplier then you don’t have to initiate the charge - the car does that by providing details of your P&C account.
  12. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

    Probably using Musk's AI.
  13. Cayenne S EV article & video, each worth our time imo…

Using the Porsche Charging Service Plus. Apologies, I've just checked and it's 59p now instead of 89p so still a saving. The 39p rate applies to Porsche chargers and Ionity (Porsche is a part owner with Mercedes and other manufacturers). I'm pretty sure that all of Ionity chargers are 350kw...
  14. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

The confusion over why the some members have access to TYD seems to have been cleared up and is in line with the screen shot provided above.. However, you may not be too pleased with the reason ! My dealer received an explanation - Porsche have said that "The earlier Cayenne E4 orders are not...
  15. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

CHP & Matt-Taycan - just spoke to a very helpful lady in UK Customer Service. She confirmed as per dealer, the order is firm and on the system. She consulted with a colleague and they confirmed the Cayenne EV is not currently open for TYD which is what the screenshot says. They have sent a...
  16. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

I found it very accurate for my Macan EV. The date of arrival never changed and was spot on. The dealer said they found it great as well, instead of constant calls about when is my car due, they could divert owners to the App. Plus, having the App already set up meant they could set up the...
  17. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

I’m going to give customer misservice a call - I’m sure I‘ll get the standard “talk to your selling dealer” response
  18. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

You should get confirmation the same as in my screen shot - order found but unsupported. This model is not activated on TYD. I’ve been assured that this confirms the order is in the system. They think by the time they receive the V250 code it should be in TYD. I’ve always found my dealer to be...
  19. Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

I was in my dealers today (UK) asking whether my order has been confirmed on the system. I asked as before I received an email from Porsche (not the dealer) saying I could track the build and delivery in the App using Track My Dream. The dealer spent some time getting to the bottom of this - my...
  20. Cayenne EV: Bose vs Burmester

On the Macan EV forum there is a lot of debate, particularly about Bose speakers having to be ‘broken in‘. I think it may be as a result of owners who have not had an EV before, thus not experienced the quieter cabin and then growing accustomed to it and then thinking the Bose sounds improved.
