The irony of the whole wheel/delay debacle is that i also accepted the compromise so as to keep my build slot otherwise the next slot with Techno Turbonite was September. I'm delayed to September now anyway

The best example i've come across of Turbonite and Vanadium is Tomi Auto's 911 Turbo S... If nothing else it demonstrates how poorly the configurator renders Turbonite

Managed to drag an update from my dealer yesterday. My delivery has now slipped from Mid-July to 11.09... Painful!!

I had to switch from the Sport Techno Turbonite and went for the 22-inch Cayenne Exclusive Design, Gloss Black Blades. I'm sure they'll look great in person but i'm now concerned there'll be too much Gloss Black. Also annoyed with myself that i allowed the colour renderings on the Configurator...

Today I learned that my original estimated delivery of Mid-July has slipped. It had already slipped to early August. Now I'm being told Mid-September. "Delay campaigns against Alloy Wheels" is the reason apparently. Extra frustrating for me, as I already had to sacrifice my first choice wheel...

UK Paint to Sample now fully operational... I think i'm glad i'm already locked in with Free Vanadium because if i was spec'ing now i'd almost certainly be spending the extra £7,913 😓
