Personal choice but I would skip heated surfaces and electric doors (can't help but think they'll be problematic and pointless - soft close is std which is useful). Body coloured door mirrors? Enjoy!

So which colour(s) have been added? Slate Grey Neo, Oak Green, Pale Blue, Madeira, Algarve, Mystic Green (ugh) etc were there. Perhaps Napoli Blue - I took that to be the trusty Gentian Blue which has been around some time. Apologies if not.

This is the same as per the Macan EV in USA / NA so I expect it will be available from the dealer but not listed for either the Macan or Cayenne EV on the respective configurator - so don't rush to cancel! Odd that you don't have the option for the electric deploying hook (neater integration).

Colour choice on both UK and NA configurators are the same - nothing has changed (colourwise) since first posted.

Nope it doesn't and is why they offer the VLC roof. Major omission IMHO using additional rear head room as the excuse, oh and why not spend more and get the VLC roof instead...

Carrera White is the favoured one as it is metallic and gets withdrawn from various models e.g. Taycan, Macan, others from time to time.

I got 3 (!) - Silverstone, Perth and Glasgow (random I know). Too much effort so ain't bothering and will wait til test drive time. My Aberdeen dealer is offering free Porsche wallbox, installation and 2 free Experience Days on any new EV order...sign of the shifting times!

So you can't actually order until there is an allocation. Reservation fee can be made to keep your position in the queue and then assigned to the allocation once available and then you have a short period to alter spec after that before it is locked - normal process for any factory order.

Electric Sports sound varies across the Taycan range - notably GTS (I had both a 4S and GTS). All are terrible IMHO and so I always disabled it. The v8 rumble on the Cayenne EV Turbo does sound better until you accelerate. Suspect the other models (base, S etc when they come along) will not...

Pricing is a pleasant surprise (entry model) with a good spec. I think many Macan EV owners will be more than jealous and could pay more depending on spec. Sure to steal Macan and Taycan orders for sure! Do I have a spec already...of course!

I've had 2 Taycans since 2020 (4S and a GTS ST) but as private buyer I bailed out due to the depreciation situation. Awesome cars but 911 was a safer bet. I may yet add either a Macan EV or Cayenne EV next year. I think the Cayenne will be the more desirable and better tech but pricing may be off.
