I have to believe the Porsche NA team is hating the 298 & 299 mile ratings! Just 1 or 2 more miles and then they get to 300 miles which has been determined is a psychological barrier in NA.

If you go to Porsche website and search inventory they now have window stickers/Monroney labels which lists the EPA #'s.

Isn't the body shop part of the production line? If so, how can a vehicle start production and require 10 weeks to complete? That's an impossibly large line (10 weeks could equal 10,000 vehicles) and I sure hope they don't have an area to store work in progress (WIP) while it is not being built.

I got info from the dealer now showing mid to late October. How could a VIN have already been assigned? Don't they assign VIN's sequentially during manufacturing? This latest update is now three months of delays yet the order is "locked" and changes are forbidden.

Well mine has now been pushed back to late October delivery from the original 24 July. I have a gut feeling the lack of EPA certification has forced Porsche to delay USA production. If there is a delay we all know why!
