Caynne EV Exterior Color Poll: What Are You Choosing?

@Wivenhoe will be able to answer your question soon

[Competition] - the BMW iX5 M60 looks strong

Range is all about personal circumstances and speed limits. I used to drive around 600km in one stint on German Autobahn quite frequently. In this scenario any diesel powered SUV would get you quicker from A to B. Nowadays I live in UK with family. Usually we break at around 3h so a range of 210...

Test drive SUV base model - Indecision!

I am not entirely sure if this is entirely true, you certainly don't get the kick in "normal" and "comfort" matches exactly what UK What Car magazine described (the throttle response is completely different). In sport, car still doesn't feel fast as fast as Macan 4s (bigger, heavier) but in...

Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

That's lighting fast given your car only arrived in Sheerness two days ago. Looks amazing.

Test drive SUV base model - Indecision!

Don't get it for 3D view but the features that come along with it. Don't like the 3D view either, it's confusing and very badly implemented in my opinion. I think kerb warning alone is worth it and even transparent bonnet has its uses (for example higher curbs). As for Compass, I regretted...

Test drive SUV base model - Indecision!

I went with @Moheisen(FirstEV)'s recommendation and it's dead quiet except for some expected tyre noise. I have no comparison to Cayenne without tough . You have the Coupe so you should be perfectly fine. Also you will have no noise from open sunroof :CWL:.

Test drive SUV base model - Indecision!

    - I had all versions in previous Macan and loaner EV's, Compass was my least favourite. You get all information in driver display as well. Get the chrono. Porsche chrono is amazing but expensive. I did choose none for cayenne and I am happy without. I got passenger display instead. Not utterly...

Test drive SUV base model - Indecision!

S and Turbo have different oil cooled engines so overall rear geometry might be slightly different. Same for RAS in Macan.

Test drive SUV base model - Indecision!

Some of us have been in a similar position (not owning a McLaren though :CWL: ), 20k is simply too much. Base is simply fast enough. It's a luxury and versatile GT but still have to come to terms with lack of Macan's hot hatch feeling (more HP will simply not change this).

Here we go again - Window rolled down by itself

My past experience with 2 Macan luckily is blurred, but from recollection, there were some wide spread issues like automatic flap doors and Plug and charge for example (so guess quite a few more unhappy customers). Early days, but by the looks on the Forum, totally different experience. All...

Here we go again - Window rolled down by itself

Had this issue once on Macan, and as describe by @Wivenhoe, that did the trick (my sales person did it) and never reoccurred. So far I have no issues with my Cayenne except some minor seat position glitches in the first week - could have been me playing round with all possible settings.

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

Yes I do all the time currently. Set at 23 degree Celsius in comfort mode with open roof. Best experience ever (excluding convertible). AC is super strong, nearly instant and airflow is optimal. Did the same on 911, they are worlds apart, well, actually didn't work on 911. I know you are getting...

Test drive SUV base model - Indecision!

Saw the Coupe in black as well. Definitely looks better than SUV. Looks much smaller in show room as compared to SUV in algarve blue. The open sunroof is amazing in current UK weather so don’t think I would trade given the option. Based on 2 weeks experience (time flies), base Cayenne is less...

Caynne EV Exterior Color Poll: What Are You Choosing?

I personally like the side Porsche logo, but have the base and was told off not to do it. Certainly works on some colours. I think in black on blue it looks good. As for wheels, I have the spyder, I think you want 22 inch with more silver contrast in blue. I really like the ones in the picture...

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

That's around 2.9. As mentioned above, Cayenne seems to do better at 50 mph than Macan so 250-280 seems realistic for those not living on the edge (did it once, 1st broken - no problem -around 20 miles range, 2nd in construction - 10 miles range left - getting uncomfortable - 3rd was working -...

My Cayenne base EV finally arrived (first impressions, reviews, updates)

Unfortunately not, too busy at the moment. Please ask @Moheisen(FirstEV), he has driven a lot  . I am not sure if @Moheisen(FirstEV) shares my observation, but Cayenne EV seems to use more energy on shorter city stints as compared to Macan. Based on very little expierence on country...

Seat position in general is higher than in Macan. Since you mentioned it, I can also see them at a lower seat position.

    Discount on cayenne

Not to escalate this any further, price difference (OTR) Germany and UK is around 11% with similar TAX. Cars here are in general cheaper, in particular Mercedes. VW is an outlier though. BMW is cheaper than Mercedes in Germany, UK seems opposite but depends on discounts.

    Discount on cayenne

Nope, less expensive in UK before Brexit as well. Keep looking 😂
