I had entirely different problems on my first Macan EV (and if I remember correctly @Moheisen(FirstEV) as well) but they started to replace one module after another. One faulty module - can happen, two less likely but shit happens. They finally fixed the car after 3 months wait and ensured me...
Mine was with Porsche dealer to fix an other problem for 3 months. Happened 2 min after driving away from dealer with apparently fixed car. Parked car at my house and let it collect from dealer. Never driven car again so don't know the outcome. Read on forum later that it might have been the 12v...
Oh dear, I had this in my Macan EV. Some on the Macan forum did say it may be related to 12v battery. I would do a longer drive if 12v battery is low and see if reoccurs.
There is a lot of competition in this class, many good options. Cayenne however is notably bigger if you need rear space so here in UK you are looking at Volvo, Lotus, Mercedes EQS SUV or BMW iX which are considerably older. New iX5 will be first to compete directly.
Sorry to hear, you seem to be the first on this forum with major problems. Have been there before, 2 Macan EV lemons. My Cayenne seems fine so would recommend to friends. There are currently some delays in delivery/build so not sure if they identified problems with some parts. Electric cars are...
Did a size comparison between car my father was driving (W123) when I was younger and Cayenne EV, Cayenne is not that much longer but 20 cm wider. In terms of overall volume, that's a different story - massive.
Switching from Macan EV to Mini to 911 just before handover, Cayenne felt really, really big 😂. As you said, handling wise no big difference to Macan - rear wheel steering helps a lot in tight places and sharper bends. Only noticeable difference are the larger doors when parking (that’s a...
Hi, how is the interior of new iX5? Interesting that it seems iX5 is smaller in the rear than Cayenne. Will they have 7 seater available? Otherwise will be hard to sell a much heavier car with less space in markets like UK. More range, due to fast charging, would not be a selling point for me...
I tried this with Amazon music. With Porsche hotspot also available, kids drained nearly all allowance from Porsche Vodafone for the month on our trip to Germany. Normally I have more then 90% left at end of month 😂
Do you have HD? I had exactly that problem with standard matrix on Macan. As mentioned above, drove behind latest generation M5 on middle lane. Mine adjusted quicker, BMW illuminated all 3 lanes whereas mine only middle lane and signs were much, much brighter with my lights.
Either the coupe is way more efficient (shouldn't really matter in town) or I need to work on my driving style (and I am on 21" ). Just looked at my consumption figures, 3.0 mi/kWh in July, 2.8 in August. Porsche app: "5% less compared to the previous month. Great! " Not sure if the programmer...
14 way seems to be a safe bet for Cayenne EV (a few long distance trips without problems, haven't heard anything bad) but for those pushing the Turbo to the limit in corners they may not be adequate. Sport seats in Macan EV worked for me (head rest). Personally I didn't like the comfort seats in...
Quite difficult to explain, little bit like widgets on iPhone but sizes of tiles are predetermined. Haven't used them enough for final verdict. I configured them first day so guess I need to rearrange, you have three sets.
Like you, I have HUD so I personally don't find the 3D Assisted Driving View helpful. Reason I have direction in right tube is for more complex junctions on motorways. Left tube is the one I am struggling with, would prefer analogue clock with temperature (don't have chrono). yes, traffic light...
Hi, just wonder what is everybody's favourite tube selection.
Visually, I really like the 5 tube design but information are kind of redundant (I have HUD). It's fun on shorter drives but usually use map (Porsche navigation) with two tubes (right showing navigation) and Waze via AppleCar play...
Door handles are fine IMHO, the only things which are really cheap is the B-pillar in plastic (this even caused problems with rattling seatbelts in the Macan EV) and handles above doors (but there is a solution to replace with sunglass holders in Macan). Door storage for bottles is also a step...
