26th or 27th is the global launch and people are already getting deliveries at those dates set. So everything is up to speed without delays as I understand it.
Previously it was due to a specific software update that needed to be installed before any cars were released. That was the reason my delivery was delayed for a few weeks. Apparently the cars bricked or never finished the updates..
That isn’t good at all. My dealer actually told me today that they should ”hurry up to register the car on us” so we don’t end up in the same situation as during the Macan launch, when Porsche AG put a complete delivery stop on all cars, making them impossible to register.
Not sure if the...
I haven’t heard anything from the dealer, but I noticed in the app that there now is a “service history” button. Apparently my car went through PDI today and they drove 9km while testing it (8,5km too much in my opinion 😉)
Has anyone else in Europe received an estimated delivery or pickup date yet?
It seems like most people getting early deliveries are scheduled for next Friday, which is one day before the official launch (I think). I guess that’s the estimated timeline for the early birds.
I’m mainly curious...
I totally agree with everyone above.
I’ve had several Porsche loaners without RAS, including the Cayenne, Taycan, and Macan. You could really feel the difference, not in a good way at all.
Just noticed that Porsche released this:

What are your opinions on it and shouldn't it also be available on their newest product?
I agree with you, but I also think Racetex vs. leather is somewhat of a generational thing. My father, who is probably around the average age of the typical Porsche buyer, also believes leather is superior in every way — luxury, feel, and durability. However, everyone I’ve spoken to around my...
Why I said minor is because it is smaller compared to the pre-delivery update of the Macan EV launch. The last update was apparently significant enough that it had to run overnight to complete.
Another update from the dealer: they checked the official system and confirmed that the vessel carrying my car is scheduled to arrive today. It appears everything is progressing according to the original timeline, which is great news.
Based on the current schedule, delivery is expected around...
I really hope you’ll get it by the end of June, but doesn’t a 15-day transit time from the factory to the UK (including PDI at the dealership) sound insanely quick?
As an early adopter of the Macan EV (part of the first batch delivered to my Porsche dealership in Sweden), I had the unfortunate experience of having the car completely bricked within the first week of ownership. After nearly a year of discussions, I was ultimately compensated appropriately for...
This isn’t available for Europe and probably only for the US. I understood it more like that you get the range wheels or something when optioning it, no augmented pedal or the like.
A little update on my end. I spoke with my SA today regarding the delivery, and it seems production has been delayed by about two weeks compared to the original schedule. As a result, I’ll probably not get the car until early/mid-July. (Production is finished and car is at port)
What surprised...
This is obviously subjective, but coming from someone who will have three child seats installed in the rear, I would be stupid to buy an S or above purely for the extra performance. Paying an extra €20K for essentially the exact same build, excluding PTV and Active Ride, seems so far-fetched...
So
Good thing to know is that apparently none will be able to get their car delivered before the global launch on the 26th. So hopefully the delay won’t matter in that sense.
