Cayenne S EV added to Electric lineup

Just curious if anyone has been tempted to jump up to the S from the base order?

Personally, in the UK spec I can't see the justification for change (but that is just me).

In Dutch spec it's almost €20,000 to upgrade to the "S", and that's with the exact comparable spec. I'm a sucker for paying extra for things I don't need and buy cars with my heart rather than head, but despite that it's a hard "no" from me.

That is where I am at. I can easily see the appeal, but not enough to justify the jump up for me.

The S has red brake calipers and the base has black.

Today I changed my order to the S because it will have enough power that I won't have to spend an extra $3k to chip it and now I get PTV.

If a Cayenne EV would be our replacement lease for our current Macan EV Turbo, we would be getting a well loaded S. though passing on the PAR option…

Went from 14 August to 24 July but the order lock date moved from 14 April to 5 May. More time before lock but an earlier delivery seems impossible so I asked if transport time was baked in and they said yes.

I had to change dealers to do this because my original dealer still does not have an allocation for an S. I popped into a new dealer and they checked and were surprised they had two allocations and commented like they may have received them yesterday.
