If you spoke to the average car owner in Europe and asked them about the model year of their vehicle, they wouldn't have a clue what you were talking about, never mind actually know the answer. Europe doesn't deal in model years in the way the U.S. does.
No, it doesn't interest me. It's saw a review of it on Panamera, and it sounds like something I wouldn't particularly like. The reviewer said it disconnects you from the driving and it feels artificial. It also costs €9,000, so I'm not prepared to take that risk for something I don't like the...
So, despite having a base Cayenne on order since February, this morning I switched it to a Turbo. Same old story. I've gradually added so many options to the base model that the gap to the Turbo was small enough for me to justify switching.
Here's my spec:

Thanks for the photos. First one I've seen of Dolomite, which is a colour I like and I had it on my first Taycan.
It's in "lift" mode though, which spoils the looks somewhat.
Ordered a Cayenne with SportTechno wheels in standard silver and black in the Netherlands in February. Estimated delivery then was "mid-August", although it was certainly not set in stone, and they weren't able to give an actual delivery date. In May I heard about the delays for the SportTechno...
Vanadium was my second choice. A colleague has a Cayenne PHEV in Vanadium and it looks great. I'd just had Volcano on my Macan Turbo, so wanted something other than a grey shade this time.
Coincidently, just after our conversation yesterday, I popped to my local Porsche dealer, and they had a Mystic Green Cayenne Turbo parked outside (I've been several times in the last few weeks and they only had a demo in Monteverde). When I arrived the sun was behind cloud and it looked a...
The central storage is one of the few issues I have with the new Cayenne. It's very big but it's of little use to store anything other than your phone in the charging dock, and two bottles in the cup holders. There is no place to put loose items like your wallet. There is the tray area at the...
Thanks for the info. I'm in the Netherlands at the moment and won't be back in the UK for a few weeks, and even then I'll only be in the south.
Which of the two photos would you say the colour is most like in real life?
EDIT: Just seen you've added a few photos. Thanks. It's really hard to...
I had a Macan Electric and the seat belt buckle annoyed me. When I test drove the Cayenne last week, I didn't have an issue with the seat belt rattling against the b-pillar.
The Netherlands. This was a German-registered example brought in from Stuttgart.
It had 21” rims, no RAS. In comfort mode it was like driving on a cloud. Very different from my Macan Turbo Electric.
