Cayenne S EV added to Electric lineup

You can see it at 10:03 in this video. And at 23:20 in this video you can see the space. This video is the base Cayenne, but it has the BOSE specced. No, I didn't.

Cayenne S EV added to Electric lineup

Er, I'm not worried about it. I'm just answering the question from @rotortalk as to whether the smaller boot space in the Turbo is due to a bigger motor. ;) As for the Macan...I know. I owned a Turbo Electric until two weeks ago. I made use of the tiny space under the boot floor beside the...

    UK build dates

Each indiviual country decide what they'll offer as standard, depending on nuances in that market. The UK buyers are not getting "free" equipment. It's bundled in as part of the standard list price. If anything they're being forced to pay for something they don't want. Had the UK list price been...

Cayenne S EV added to Electric lineup

The Turbo has less boot space than the base model and the S because it comes with BOSE as standard, and the subwoofer is in the boot.

Video: Cayenne EV in-use for London Fashion Week (3 passengers in rear seats, infotainment system looks, etc.)

Thanks for the video. Just a note, though. The three passengers in the back are not actually in the Cayenne.

    Cayenne Turbo - Steering wheel

Surprised the salesman didn't know about this steering wheel. It's been around since the Taycan GTS facelift. I would love it, and for a while I was thinking of ordering the GTS facelift with this steering wheel. In theory, there's no reason why they couldn't adapt it for the base Cayenne. The...

Configurator available for 2026 Cayenne Electric EV - post your build!

You're quoting the U.S. configurator. I was replying to somebody in the UK. However, the "Memory Package" is also standard in the U.S. Look under "standard equipment" and then "interior comfort". So if you just take the standard 8-way seats, you will get the memory function on the driver seat...

Configurator available for 2026 Cayenne Electric EV - post your build!

Driver memory is standard. It doesn't have passenger memory.

Sometimes if you miss a vital option for resale, the lease price actually goes up because it reduces the future value.

I too have gone for the 22" Sport Techno rims. They're expensive, and with the SportDesign package mandatory, it's an expensive choice...but I think necessary. None of the other rims do it for me. And for any car I own, I have to always to walk away after parking and not be able to help turning...

From Taycan to BMW i5 - Honest Opinion

Imagine getting this upset because someone on a forum said something you didn't agree with about a car. It's deeply odd.

From Taycan to BMW i5 - Honest Opinion

The i5 just isn't a car which benefits from more power in the same way the Taycan does. You have a very childlike view of the buying process, thinking that because I bought a car with more power, then I would apply to that to *any* car. This isn't TopTrumps. My comments are entirely based on...

From Taycan to BMW i5 - Honest Opinion

You can get an eDrive40 in AWD now. That's not what I said though. Not "a" more powerful car, but *specifically* the i5. The price uplift from a 4S to a GTS in my spec was much smaller than from an i5 eDrive40 to an i5 M60. Cheaper than what? "eDrive" is RWD. You can get a 4WD version of...

From Taycan to BMW i5 - Honest Opinion

I own a Taycan GTS ST, and I've got a new i5 eDrive40 M Sport Pro coming within the next two months, so I'll be able to compare them both side-by-side during ownership. I test drove the i5 eDrive40 a few months ago and I was very impressed by the ride quality and the performance. Why anybody...

Coming from Tesla to Taycan, but worried about charging on road trips.

This must have been a one-off. I've used Cambridge Ionity a LOT on my journeys between the NL and northern England, and I've never had anything other than a flawless service. 265kW immediately and for a sustained period, even when fully-occupied. A couple of free charges, also. Don't be put off.

Porsche ‘Sports Car of the Future’ To Be Unveiled June 8, Could Be Electric Boxster

Sounds like it's going to be a concept version of the new electric Boxster. The production Macan is due before the production electric Boxster too. I wonder if the electric Boxster is going to actually receive a new name and not just be the "electric Boxster"? I suspect it will. Porsche would...

Jet Green Metallic. My local dealer has both a Taycan and a Cayman GT4 RS in this colour, both with contrasting yellow stitching. Looks stunning.
