The images i uploaded are actually very representative... Mystic manages to look both shades somehow. The rear shots have more natural light on them. I would therefore suspect that's the shade you'll get the majority of the time

I do like the look of it, and the views of the rear are the best, so that's good news. Thanks for the reply.

I'm sitting in a car tomorrow. As it's a demo I suspect it will be a Turbo. 2 things I'll be checking out are the sears (bet they're not comfort) and the storage available in the centre box. I hope there is reasonable storage below the cup holders on high level.
The central storage is massive! I didn't particularly mess with it much but if anything it's too deep. Hopefully the cupholders do lift up a lot

The change in colour from different angles is crazy. Looks blue to me on images of the back. How did they get the car registered?
Registering wasn't an issue but customers can not drive any Cayennes until 26th June at the earliest. Official launch date.

The central storage is one of the few issues I have with the new Cayenne. It's very big but it's of little use to store anything other than your phone in the charging dock, and two bottles in the cup holders. There is no place to put loose items like your wallet. There is the tray area at the front of the central area but things just slide around.

Thank you very much. Since the car is registered, Cayenne must have past homologation by UK government (I quote my sales person "With a new model we are sometimes held up with being able to register them until they have passed homologation by the government, if this happens I will let you know."). If I understand correctly, cars can be handed to customers on 26th?

Have just returned home from visiting my dealer... they now have their Turbo SUV on site. I spent some time with it.
It looks superb! Super pleased with it from every angle and i have to say that Mystic Green is kinda nice! Interesting how much a colour can very depending on the light source

I love your pics, I have been dithering on colour and Mystic Green is a strong contender. Also like the Oak Green

My car is in Emden  .
Good for you - you may have to live with the car being at the dealer but being unable to collect until the 26th. I had to do that when I bought the Macan, it arrived mid Feb but I’d bought a 25 plate so had to wait - I resisted the urge to go and see it.

Hope it clears the dock soon

I'm gonna fix that but I don't get my car for a good while.

Well, the verdict is in…

I won’t be taking delivery at the end of June as originally promised, but rather at the end of August. From what I’ve been told, Porsche is indeed having a supply issue with the 22-inch SportTechno wheels in Vanadium. 😭 😭 😭

So, in short, my delivery has been pushed back by two months.

Are any other forum members experiencing the same delay with these wheels? Have you also been affected by this issue on your orders? 🙏
I wonder if it is the wheels themselves or the tires. AFAIK all the other 22” options fit 275 front and 315 rear tires. The SportTechno wheels are the only ones which are 285/325.

Mystic definitely surprised me. I absolutely loved the shade from the rear with more natural sunlight. Looks super crips against the gloss black accents. I wish i'd seen the car before they bought it into the showroom

That’s a very good point, and you may well be right.

I hadn’t thought about the tire size difference. If the SportTechno wheels are the only 22” option using 285 front and 325 rear tires, then the delay could indeed be related to the tires rather than the wheels themselves.

In any case, it seems this specific wheel/tire combination is clearly causing delays.

Coincidently, just after our conversation yesterday, I popped to my local Porsche dealer, and they had a Mystic Green Cayenne Turbo parked outside (I've been several times in the last few weeks and they only had a demo in Monteverde). When I arrived the sun was behind cloud and it looked a certain shade, but then five minutes later when the sun came out, it changed quite a lot. Both times it looked fantastic, so I'm absolutely happy with my choice going forward.
