Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

Honestly, it sounds like your dealer is kind of incompetent at best. My dealership/salesperson has been very proactive in updating me when orders lock, when I can expect vehicles, etc...

My order has locked a day earlier than my dealership had shown me on their computer. I can't put that one on the dealership. I also can't put the two times the order has unlocked on the dealer. I see this as if there is "incompetence" it is on Porsche. However, it is a new vehicle and some hiccups are bound to occur so I think "incompetence" is too harsh.

My Cayenne S is already built and delivered to dealer.

unfortunately the official launch of sale is 26th of June and they can not handle the car and activate the warranty before that date.

Unfortunately, my wife is not very happy of the colour in reality. We thought it will be a bit darker... the online configurator is a crap... Sadly, the Porsche does not have any dark gray colour any more

That’s in bright sunlight, looks darker on cloudy days. It’s a nice colour. Don’t worry, good choice.

I also ordered the same colour.

It’s true that in direct sunlight it looks very light, and above all, the colour tends to shift towards blue. I agree with you: it’s a shame that Porsche doesn’t offer a proper anthracite grey.

That said, @CHP is right: the colour should look darker in cloudy weather, which is quite often the case in Paris

I wouldn`t trust those dates any more. About 10 days ago I received a notification from my dealer, that the car is "in production" and they do not know anything more about that. And estimated delivery to the dealer on 26th of June. They told me that this is in the system and as this is a new car, they do not know if it might be sooner/later...

And now, 22 days earlier, they sent me pictures as the car is already waiting at the dealers place.

I’ve been trying to get more information from my dealer for about a week now, but without much success. He is currently in training, and Porsche France doesn’t seem to have any visibility either. Their answer was basically: “Please contact your dealer.”

So reading that your car arrived 22 days earlier than expected, even though the system still showed a later delivery date, is definitely reassuring. Maybe there’s still a chance mine is further along than it looks in the system.

The salesman was away until today. Apparently the car is in build so that's good. They are considering their own transport to make the delivery quicker - I assume they must have a full lorry load. Seems production is ramping up.

My dealer had some problems with organising delivery from port as well.
