Having the VIN means the chassis is allocated to your car and I believe that means the options are attached to that car for the supply chain.

Not long now then, which means we'll be able to get some feedback on actual cars by owners and not reviewers. I made my order conditional on a demo drive but now I find that the dealers demo will probably arrive on the same lorry as mine. I have a suspicion that my build allocation was the dealers Coupe order which they switched to a sale.

Hopefully us first owners won't have cars with gremlins - I spoke to the lead technician at the dealers and he is not going on a 3 day Cayenne EV training course until end June.
Moheisen was an early adapter, I got two 4s, one in Dec 24 and one in July 25. Major issues don't seem to be related to early adaptors just pure "luck" getting faulty hardware. Other issues like electric charging flap or plug and charge on Macan EV are expected and will take more time to solve for early adopters.

Awesome! I just thought about that whenever our cars get built, shouldn’t we be able to track their locations and other statuses since they are connected to our app?

Would basically be an indirect TYD 😂
Unfortunately this won't work as remote access services need to be authorised in the car. Tried it before . That's why they developed track your dreams. The only time you can track your car is when it's on the ship as you can track the ship ;-). Did this with Macan.

For those not able to obtain VIN, don't worry. No added functionality or information. Even digital manual not available and spot on videos are from Macan or Taycan at the moment.

Same for me, i was also offered the dealerships first Coupe showroom car. I've been told that they're expecting a demo car this month. They don't know when or even what model though.

Dealer has just called. Their delivery manager is of the opinion the car may be with them end of June
Drove by Porsche Guilford yesterday so though why not have look at showroom (sales event). They only had the Cayenne EV for one day (currently at east London) but their first show room car is expected in 2 weeks. Seems Cayenne EVs coming in from June onwards.

Sorry if this is too much info, but I just received notice that my order to the westcoast US has made it to the port in Emden (two days after the completion notice). I expect progress to slow down a bit now as it sits in a lot waiting for it's ride to California. Still no production picts or firm delivery dates.
I am curious what trim level you ordered (Base, S, or Turbo)?

You may have already seen the earlier posts. If you have ordered a turbo with techno wheels it adds weeks to the delivery.

Happy Hump Day all - first time poster but long time creeper 👀...just had my Porsche Cayenne EV Coupe order submitted and accepted by Porsche for a mid-August delivery. This will be my 2nd Porsche with the first being the launch Macan EV 4, was a bit to small for my liking.

I'm looking forward to following everyones journey in here!
