Build quality on Chinese Taycan is P poor!Would still take the Taycan or the Audi over the Tesla. Can’t bear the way it looks. Lol
The CT weighs just 25kg (55 pounds) more, only an extra 1.1% over the sedan. The difference might even be less than that if the sedan has the optional pano roof. Why wouldn't they use a Turbo S sedan? That extra CT weight is effectively like adding another passenger! Prob wouldn't be enough but better to see as like-to-like as possible.
But, TBH, irrelevant as the Taycan so much better in so many (and really relevant) ways than the Camry... oops, sorry, the Tesla
EDIT: Made comments w/o actually looking at vid - so looked and indeed he makes the pt re weight - my bad!![]()
CF wrapped motor has been around for a while. It's expensive and there are more effective methods. Look at Lucids motors. And I mean it’s just cool to see. That used to be what ICE super cars would do to insane/ludicrous/whatever EV after the initial launch….the carbon wrapped motors have really changed things in the car. But still 100% just a party trick
Indeed, it is an easy way to compare completely irrelevant (to most) performance statistics because it requires zero driver skill. But still 100% just a party trick
I think you are underplaying the skill required......Indeed, it is an easy way to compare completely irrelevant (to most) performance statistics because it requires zero driver skill.
and count backwards… 3… 2.. 1…I think you are underplaying the skill required......
They do need to be able to stamp on a pedal and keep their arms straight for a few seconds, without getting bored.
