We’re already paying an extra $200+ in TX too - I forget the exact no.s but based off gas/road taxes per mile driven (averages) EV owners I believe are paying 3-4 times what ICE vehicles pay.

Contrarian perhaps (and just my opinion) but my immediate reaction was just a boring design with a std Tesla iPad interior - no interest for me. My wife always describes Rivians as the truck with the ‘dead eyes’ - she’s not a fan of those distinctive headlights :)!

Curious if the comment about potentially boosting their updates/upgrades for CarPlay will actually play out - CarPlay development has all been rather incremental to date for me but perhaps part of future strategy will involve growth in this area.

Sorry a bit off topic but anyone think that the Taycan will get a PCM update that will allow us to load non-OEM/3rd Party apps directly to the PCM screen as mentioned for the Macan? Can't imagine a technical reason why this could not be backward compatible but def no expert there?

Also just so there is no additional confusion when reading actual usable power that reaches the car, and as reported in the Taycan charging screen, you will never actually see the full 11.5 or 9.6 kW at the car - the EVSE can theoretically output this max but losses from EVSE, cabling etc. means...
