I recently had to deal with a clutch pedal for the first time in nearly 10 years- a trackday hire, was anxious beforehand about competence at rev-matching on downshifts, thankfully unfounded as I found myself not having to think about it once I got going....HOWEVER that was after the major...
Good Q- I've just been to check, and the Simucube profile is "Daniel Morad"...however, I have vague recollection of having tweaked it without changing the name, so I'd need to work through it again in conjunction with his vid. I think my iRacing setting is at max range, again, I need to...
Just a quick update after my real-world day in a GT3 RS at Silverstone- prep on the sim was invaluable as, although I'm familiar with the circuit, I've never sat inside any 911 before, so as iRacing's GT3 Cup car was the closest available substitute, its lack of ABS or TC systems conditioned me...
Well I've now got mine and just managed to get it set it up in time to prep for a (real world) track day at Oulton Park.

The Cayman GTS (2.5T turbo) I hired, fettled for track use-
As you can see, I aligned the screens only approximately, knowing that there'd be...
Thanks- I need to add the relevant hardware to my shopping list to take advantage of that (though TBH I'm not liking the idea of simulated gear shits...hopefully ButtKicker can be dialled back to avoid that).
How does the ABS feedback hardware on the pedal determine when to activate? I'm guessing the sim software doesn't directly signal ABS activation, so is it assumed when there's rapid pulsing of the brakes?
I can well imagine! From my brief research to date, I recognise quite a few of those product names, and am reassured that the pedals and wheelbase I'd provisionally picked are the exact same as yours, and it seems that iRacing is my best option for realism and car/circuit selection.
Thanks for...
What a timely thread- not involved yet, but I've an upcoming appointment with Demon Tweeks to try out various options on their rig.
I'm looking for a setup primarily for virtual track sessions so I can prep for the real thing (track days rather than racing) and experience places I'm unlikely to...
Q3 2023 is the most recent period for which data has been published.
I cut the list- the source continues in descending order beyond the Eletre.
Audi E-TRON only appears once, so presumably anything with that badge is lumped in to the one line.
Live your dream as Birkin with goggles or Steed in a bowler hat. Perfect for taking the dog to the park (unless it's raining).

You're right- don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that there aren't many others with vested and/or noble interests, just that I don't think they are contributing anything as much to the fighting fund.
Not news to us, but good that there is at least acknowledgement of the media campaign to feed the easily-manipulated. What the government does to counter it is another matter.
