Understood, my concern is that in the UK the thieves are out to steal phones because they can transfer money, buy things etc whereas they don’t go looking to steal car keys. I totally get the point that you can lose car keys of course but the chance in the UK of having your phone stolen is greater. I’m possibly being unfair to insurance companies but for a £ 100k+ claim I’m sure they’ll explore every avenue to deny the claim !

There is solution for this, so you don’t have to worry🤝
Whenever you’re in an area where you feel there’s a bit of risk, you can do the following:

Go into your Apple Pay/Google Pay (or whichever wallet you have the Porsche Cayenne card in), select the card, and deactivate “Passive Opening.” (Or whatever it is called in english). Just press the “i” button in the top right corner.

It takes literally two seconds to enable or disable, but what this does is remove the ability for someone to open the car unless they first unlock your phone and then authenticate with your passcode or Face ID to open the car.

So it essentially becomes a multi-layered security system.

Thanks. But being a dinosaur I'll stick with key and get the bonus of the unexpected opening of the frunk, inevitably when it's raining heavily.
