I’ve a deposit down for the Macan EV and this is the other car that’s catching my attention, don’t see this as a competitor for the Taycan in any of its formats but an alternative to either the Macan or Cayenne then most definitely a rival and could very well have the edge.
This is probably the...
It took me a while to learn to accept it, still don't love it but at least it doesn't bother me now. Plus when sat in it you don't see the front anymore. LOL
There is rumours that a proper M EV is closer than we think and it will have not two, not three but four electric motors. If true it will probably be the one to beat though will probably be Taycan GTS price.
If it’s an itch that needs scratched then until that’s done you will always crave to own one. All my life I have craved a 911 but with a son in a wheelchair such a machine is completely impractical so I never scratched that itch.
I don’t disagree that Porsche will continue to be at the pinnacle of EV driving dynamics but I think it will be a bit easier for others to get closer and the early sign with the EV6GT is a very playful character which is something most spirited drivers look for.
Own a fair few so called exotic watches though never anything as expensive as an AP and yet the watches I regularly wear are unknown micro brands. Maybe I’m different from the norm and I ain’t the brand lover others are, for me the actual product accounts for about 60% of my decision, 25% it’s...
If you can see past the typical oriental style interior design the actual fit, finish and quality of materials used is very good indeed… ok some of the lower trim isn’t top class but all brands are guilty of this lately.
Though I already have a deposit down on the Macan EV I will probably go...
Couple of years ago I was on a search to replace my then 740d M/Sport and I wanted into something a bit more sporty yet luxurious so I considered the RS6 and the M5 Competition. Spent a weekend in each and ended up with the M5 purely on the discount I was able to get from the dealer, of the two...
I would agree with this, it’s AWD setup isn’t rear bias enough to be steered by the throttle… much like an Audi quattro. I spent years driving performance Audi too so for me I am familiar with this and doesn’t bother me. Actually I can’t recall the last time I drove anywhere with real purpose, I...
The rear space is it's biggest issue for me, the wife is only 5'4" and she is fine but anyone 5'8" and above will struggle on long journeys. The boot is decent being a hatchback which was the main reason the brother ordered the Cross Turismo instead of the regular model which is too small of an...
The real world range depends on the wheel and rubber size, if 19" wheels then 290-300 miles is very much on the cards but with 20" wheels (wider rears) 240 miles is 100% confirmed because that's what I am seeing.
