Morning, this is probably aimed at the UK guys, buy would value all views.

On a Cayenne S what do we think are the must have options?

21 inch wheels at least
BOSE
18 way seats?
Etc
etc
etc

Thanks

I think it would probably be easier for everyone to assess if you build your configuration and post it.

All depends on personal preference (obviously), I can only guess where you are coming from. Cayenne S already starts as an expensive build. If you spend 20k on top of base I would include 21 inch, full leather, panorama roof, HD Matrix, chrono, sport sound, rear wheel steering, Bose. Active ride seems a logical option too. Price difference between base and S before options likely to be the same after options ;-).

Here's my configuration. I chose what seemed most sensible to me, with a few optional extras. These are, of course, also applicable to the Cayenne S. I'll receive my order in mid-June 2026. Treat yourself too ! :)

14 way would be a preference- more comfortable

Pano roof

2D / 3D Park Assist

Rear axle steering

Privacy glass

Bose (probably)

Other options are now standard such is the basic spec

My spec (coming in June) though it’s on the Turbo):
https://porsche-code.com/PTG1PME9

I probably went a little over the top as I suffer from FOMO!

Great spec! Personally I might have kept the window surrounds in Turbonite, but that's purely a matter of taste.

Interesting choice to go for the centre console heating over ventilated seats… though to be fair, in England ventilated seats are probably not top of the priority list 😄

And as for FOMO guilty as charged

I did have ventilated seats and the centre consuls and door arm rest heating on my iX the arm heating I used all the time. The ventilated seats just once to check what it did!

Careful with the blue tinted rear lights. Specced it on Macan GTS (swapped for Cayenne in the end) and thought it was a little too much when I saw "my" car in showroom. Otherwise utterly brilliant spec. I would option race tex roof line grab handles thought (seems silly option but standard cheep plastic handles really annoyed me on my previous Macan EVs, went for Alibaba replacement which can also hold sun glasses - looked nice but requires work to install/replace).

By the way, limited storage in centre console (?where do I put my keys so they don't rattle) and lack of rear seat entertainment are on my list to solve once car arrives. Looked on Taycan and Macan forum previously, except for gluing magnet to rear seat (Macan forum) I was unable to find any good looking and practical solution to hold ipads in place. Any ideas?

All the configurations mentioned above are superb, it has to be said. In any case, with a car as magnificent as the new electric Cayenne, everything suits it: whether it's the choice of exterior or interior colors, or even the style of the wheels, each combination enhances its look and character.

However, there is one truly essential option for me that Porsche unfortunately doesn't offer for the Cayenne, but only for the 911 (and only for the front end): the Cover PPF protective film. For some time now, I've had this film applied by a specialist to the entire car, and it's simply fantastic! It effectively protects the bodywork against all external damage and allows me to keep this gem in impeccable condition, just like the day I bought it. For a vehicle of this caliber, it's an absolute must in my opinion.

it’s the standard tint front and rear of specced as opposed to the blue.
I agree. The blue looks a bit much.
I think k I may be too late for the race tex grab handles but I’ll ask!

Not a big problem, never managed to install Alibaba (both Macan were lemons) but looked nice and can hold sunglasses.
