Expected delivery at dealer was normally today 24/06. From what understood, the car is already imported in the country and now at the Belgian distribution center (D'Ieteren).

My contact person just told me that there were issues with the transport but that there was also a delivery stop (whatever that means?). He would give me an update by friday. Anyone in Belgium that took delivery already or had the same message from the dealer?
That isn’t good at all. My dealer actually told me today that they should ”hurry up to register the car on us” so we don’t end up in the same situation as during the Macan launch, when Porsche AG put a complete delivery stop on all cars, making them impossible to register.

Not sure if the delivery stop is country dependent or not.

Seems I missed that. What was the reason for the stop previously?

Previously it was due to a specific software update that needed to be installed before any cars were released. That was the reason my delivery was delayed for a few weeks. Apparently the cars bricked or never finished the updates..

26th or 27th is the global launch and people are already getting deliveries at those dates set. So everything is up to speed without delays as I understand it.

Official launch was yesterday for our dealership. I attented it. They have one base Cayenne for test drives, but it will be available from 27nd June (this Saturday).

Just test driven a base model. Really well put together car, big too! Glad I’ve got the S though, base model is missing that “kick”.

How comfortable is the ride, and is there a lot of body roll in the corners?

Bearing in mind it's a big car I was able to throw it around the back roads with no issues. Handled the corners, bumps in the road very well. Motorway driving was very easy.

I did the test drive with the base model too mid April. It doesn’t give the same “kick” as the Taycan GTS that I had, but plenty of fun and still that Porsche feeling in the steering which is quite impressive for such a big SUV.

I think my wife and kids will love the comfort mode for family road trips while I would always choose the Sport Plus mode to get a bit of a stiffer ride and more feeling of the car while driving.

In the meanwhile I can confirm that the cars are expected to get a last minute software update (dealer told me that they’re going to do it for all cars before arriving at the dealer). Delay is expected to be a couple of weeks (still July though).

Today I have another info from dealer - one of theirs demo S models have a recall and needs to wait about 14 days for a spare part (I do not know any more about that). But mine S was OK with no need of that 🤷‍♂️ So probably someone is lucky, some is not.

My dealer sends this today. I see a manually entered date showing exit from production 4 days from now. Previous estimates showed production requires 5 days. Ergo, My Porsche App should show me at Milestone 4 but it only shows Milestone 3.

Are the dealers able to adjust the dates in the schedule or does this only come from headquarters?

AFAIK the dates come from Porsche AG, but are only estimates. Dealers can request schedule shifts, but no guarantees that PCNA/PAG will do anything about those requests.
