What I learned after owning an EV: it's not about battery size, it's about how fast it charges. Most bigger EVs have big enough batteries.

Very true until you reach areas with suboptimal charging infrastructure, occupied or broken chargers. For me in UK, battery in Cayenne is good enough. 200+ miles range with 20% battery in reserve. Had broken chargers or ICE occupied chargers in the past, caught by surprise as they show green on your map.

Here from BMW’s Australia official data (screenshot). 2,890 kg =6,371.359 lbs. It is a “porky,” when we thought the 5,860 pounds for Cayenne EV Turbo was ultra heavy.

As @mirto said, you have to know when enough is enough. X3 seems goldilocks in terms of range, weight and styling. Am I mistaken or is iX60 faster than iX5 60?

3.49 T is maximum load, 5 adults and 5 bags/suitcases. Some countries starting to measure weight.
Love to see 5 adults shoehorned into a Cayenne or iX5 and their luggage - it's really a 4 seater with an occasional 5th.

Let's rephrase it, 2 adults and 3 young adults. Pending gender of young adults, luggage will increase exponentially regardless duration of stay :CWL:
