Strange, when I wanted to insure my used I-Pace 3,5 years ago a tracker was mandatory for all insurers but one. Good thing I know this now, I assumed the Cayenne would have the tracker standard. Thanks for the info.

Here in NL a tracker is usually mandatory for insurance for such high value vehicles. Why would Porsche not make this standard? Weird.

It's a bit difficult to see on the phone, but the configurator switches to X5 when you choose the M option, even though you start with the iX5. That got me. Configuring the iX5, I get to 127k when comparable to the Cayenne S. That would be a 20k price premium for me if I were to buy new.

Yes I meant the iX5 with the M package. I wouldn't compare it to the Cayenne Turbo. I'll try another iX5 config when I'm behind my PC. I don't know how I came at 145k euros :/ Maybe I was configuring the regular X5?

I don't agree that the M60 should be compared to the Turbo, it being BMW's top model or not. Spec wise it's basically a Cayenne S.

Good review, but I wish they'd stop reviewing the Turbo and saying it's unnecesary. Of course it's ridiculous when logic comes to play. Are not all comparable vehicles? Review a nicely specced base or S dammit.

Yes, the increase in prices due to tariffs is 7-10 percent with Porsche in the US. What did you decide? Both are great vehicles for what they offer.

Take my comparison with a grain of salt obviously, it's just what I think were comparable specs. I just expected a bigger difference, since it's Porsche etc. If I were to properly spec a Cayenne S based on my own preferences, it's about 176k euros :)

BMW always had the better lease deals here in NL as well. @Luminated67 can you share the iX5 and Cayenne S configs you made? That's a big difference.

I assume it's an hyperbole, since the RAV4 interior does in no way compare to the Cayenne EV interior. I do understand your complaints though.

@Moheisen(FirstEV) at the Cayenne's price premium, especially when comparing Turbo to Turbo, I'd be hard pressed to justify it if I didn't really need what Cayenne offered. It's definitely the better product, but you also pay for the size and tech of it. Just my opinion of course.

If you don't really need the space and newer tech, Cayenne over Macan won't make sense IMO.
