My Cayenne EV locked a few days early and was at milestone 2 ( green light for production). It has now reversed back to milestone 1. Dealer has no clue. Has there been a production delay or is this normal?

Same here. I then put in a small change order yesterday and the change has reflected in My Porsche App.

It could be a supply chain problem - Don’t want to cause concern but could this be linked to the tariff increase from the 1st May. Porsche were undecided how to deal with those last year regards US delivery of the Macan - it took ages for the dealers to be told what they were paying for cars and cars seemed to be delayed leaving Germany or being kept in the port. I believe the tariff applies when the goods leave the port. Hopefully, Trump will cave and reduce the tariff to 15%.

What should i expect next and in what time frame? My order/spec locked and deposit paid about 9 days ago. Do i now wait for contact direct from Porsche? If i remember correctly i should receive an invite to add my build to the app so i can keep tabs on it?

So potentially a 10% cost increase for residents of USA and a delivery delay 🤬.

New model line and similar shift in dates occurred with the Taycan (not including COVID, semi-conductor shortages (Bose and electric steering column), Ukranian war (cable harnesses and trim panels), floods in Germany (suspension manufacturer (and now a fire at a sole supplier of air suspension units apparently))).

Didn't Chump also announce 25% tarrifs on EU goods earlier this week - hard to keep up with the ongoing fantasy.
It's 25% instead of the negotiated 15% from last year which the EU hasn't ratified after a year.

Wait, there currently is a fire at the supplier of Porsche air suspension units?
Well that sucks BUT those bags are molded elastomer and even if the factory is a total loss the molds will survive and can be transferred to other sites and operations could restart in about a week.

A few weeks back and was reported in the press. The manufacturer makes suspension components and not clear which models were / are impacted.

I wish that the Cayenne Electric would come standard with steel suspension, with air suspension optional (as is the case in the US with the ICE Cayenne). As for the 25% tariffs, it's very arbitrary and unclear how that would go forward considering that all of the 2025 tariffs imposed by Trump were overturned by the courts with refunds now in the process. Trump just seems to be in his own little world with all this. As I reported on another thread in this forum, I was considering a 2025 Taycan recently (new) that had zero tariffs on it according to the build sheet and the dealer -- so if there were 15% tariffs (or whatever) last year, they did not appear on the build sheet from last October/November.

But even a 10% increase due to tariffs would be prohibitive for many of us, as the Cayenne Electric is already overpriced (and due to have huge plummeting depreciation as a result); even with a low-optioned Cayenne 4 at around $122k, a 25% tariff would put it over $150k. Would individual customers be eligible for refunds after any implemented tariffs are thrown out by the courts (again)? In the news, I only hear about companies claiming tariff refunds from the government, not individuals claiming tariff refunds. The question will also be how Porsche deals with any imposed new "anger tariffs" -- whether they absorb all the tariffs and then apply to the government later for tariff refunds (because they will all be refunded eventually anyway) . . . because it's not clear if individuals can apply for tariff refunds.

There isn't a line item for tariff charges on the Monroney sticker from any manufacturer. In 2025, Porsche just implemented a series of mid-model year price increases to MSRP instead.

It is also pretty clear that any refunds will be to the importer of record (in this case PCNA). Consumers are not due any refunds unless they are also the importer (e.g. if I bought a camera on eBay from Japan last year, and I paid a customs broker or UPS/Fedex tariff charges directly).
