Estimated Delivery Dates - What's Yours?

I was in my dealers today (UK) asking whether my order has been confirmed on the system. I asked as before I received an email from Porsche (not the dealer) saying I could track the build and delivery in the App using Track My Dream.

The dealer spent some time getting to the bottom of this - my order is on the system and will be the first Coupe they receive, still reported as mid July. They then dug into why I haven't received the TYD email. I have a screen shot and it states the reason is because Porsche Germany hasn't opened TYD for the Cayenne Electric Coupe yet.

Has anybody received an email inviting them to view TYD ?

I've not received the TYD email and I've not been able to add my comms number into the app as well.

we (in the CZE) were told that TYD is not available at all for Cayenne and they can not add it into the app as the production plant in Slovakia is joint for other cars also and can not provide that data. I do not understand that some can have it though...

When my brother ordered Macan EV last year, he was also told its not possible to have it in the app...

I had contacted Porsche, and they confirmed that TYD is only available in the USA, even though all the cars are manufactured in the same factory. It’s incomprehensible

It's also a pretty useless service (when / if it works). Nice idea and been around for some years now but as with other Porsche software offerings is poor at best.

I'm at the dealership tomorrow and this is precisely one of the questions i have for them. I havent received any emails from Porsche regarding my order. Has me doubting its in the system correctly. I'm sure they'll be able to show me something and put my mind at ease

You should get confirmation the same as in my screen shot - order found but unsupported. This model is not activated on TYD.

I’ve been assured that this confirms the order is in the system. They think by the time they receive the V250 code it should be in TYD. I’ve always found my dealer to be on the ball and truthful - especially on things like this.

I had a similar problem getting insurance quotes - model too new. Even Porsche Insurance had to find a workaround to provide a quote.

With customers able to track in US and not Europe (including UK), this seems to be a deliberate decision by Porsche. I was able to track Macan EV like all others in Europe but if I remember correctly, some customers in US could not. If so, factories may use different software platforms.

I haven't received any communication directly from Porsche either. Macan EV orders showed up automatically on my Porsche app. Good luck and keep us posted.

Really liked it and thought it was quite useful to get a rough idea (quite accurate overall - except Sheerness to dealer). Certainly builds up excitement and anticipation once you see first images of your car.

I found it very accurate for my Macan EV. The date of arrival never changed and was spot on.

The dealer said they found it great as well, instead of constant calls about when is my car due, they could divert owners to the App. Plus, having the App already set up meant they could set up the profile, plug & charge etc. before collection.

You might be able to this once you have the VIN. Takes about 5 to 10 days from Sheerness to dealer so plenty of time. I tried it manually (turned out to be the wrong car and not my new Cayenne EV) and you will need to confirm ownership/order by uploading documents via app.

CHP & Matt-Taycan - just spoke to a very helpful lady in UK Customer Service. She confirmed as per dealer, the order is firm and on the system. She consulted with a colleague and they confirmed the Cayenne EV is not currently open for TYD which is what the screenshot says. They have sent a request to Porsche and will let me know if any response.

I did a bit of research and came across a common suggestion - since TYD is now supposed to show photographs it appears the mixed line producing EV & ICE Cayenne's, may be the issue. I'll keep in touch on any developments.

At least the cars aren't shipping through the Straits of Hormuz !

We are not talking about nudity pics. Don't think it would be a problem for most of to see a naked ICE in front or behind our cars.
