Macan 4S (EV) awaiting Coupe

I have struck very lucky, as my dealer is exceptional in sales and service. As I can’t access TYD the sales guy calls me regularly and emails updates - even if nothing has changed.

I had a range issue with my Macan and they sorted that out whilst I had a curtesy car- they offered a Taycan but as I would have difficulty getting in and out I asked for a Macan. I got an ICE one and it really confirmed my view that EV’s are so much better - also It cost me about 2 months of home charging to drive circa 30 miles.

I’ve been told that Porsche are all over a dealer if they get a poor survey - anything below “exceeded expectations” is considered a poor survey.

This is actually so true.

I had issues with my data services and main user setup when my car was delivered, so I was asked to contact Porsche in Germany directly. The support was on another level compared to any dealer I’ve dealt with. They called me every 10–15 minutes, emailed every 2–3 hours, and apologized constantly because I couldn’t experience the car “to the fullest.” It wasn’t a huge issue, but it was nice to be treated that way.

The interesting part came when they asked if my dealer had gone through everything with me at delivery. I said, “Not really, they just logged me in.” The representative replied, “I’ll make sure this feedback is passed on.”

I didn’t think much of it until about 24 hours later, when I got both a call and a text from the Head of Sales at my dealership asking if everything was okay. Germany had apparently sent a strongly worded message to the general agent in Sweden, who then contacted my dealership about what had happened. Even he seemed surprised by how seriously Porsche AG took it.

My point is, dealerships can be hit or miss, but if you raise a legitimate issue with Porsche AG, they’re clearly not afraid to hold them accountable. 😂

WHAT!!!!! My experience with Porsche Germany is quite the opposite. Long wait, standard useless email response. Their number for sure is a keeper, hope we all don't need to ask you :CWL: .

Oak Green with Desert Brown would look good. What is the window surround colour you're going with? I don't think Mystic Green goes with Desert Brown as well as Oak Green, but what I was referring to when I said it was "bizarre", was the the window surround has been left as Turbonite. I love Turbonite as a colour, and I'm having Mystic Green with Turbonite on my car, but Desert Brown rims with Turbonite window trims is a big clash, IMHO.

I did think it was strange you were mistaking Mystic Green for Oak Green! 😂

I put in an order for an SUV turbo earlier this week, aiming for a March delivery to align with the end of the PCP on my iX. Dealer said that turbo orders going in now are expected to deliver early in the new year.

I think that means they have no allocation at this time. As long as the freeze date is very early next year you may have the option for the electric doors and massage seats which should be available now but aren’t. Are they willing to provide a fixed order value at today’s price list ?

You could be right, but wasn't an issue for me as I'm unlikely to see positive equity on the iX finance and need to see out the term.
Didn't ask about fixing the order value, and I'm likely to tinker with the order over the next few months anyway, especially if more options become available.

Ordered a base yesterday and dealer hopes for late Oct/Nov delivery but did caution that it could drift into Q1

Had an update on my Tusker ordered Base model yesterday. Still no build slot, they are waiting on allocations, but they are still signalling a December delivery.

Lots of people in the same boat apparently!

confidence remains low 😂
