Macan 4S (EV) awaiting Coupe
Country flag
I have struck very lucky, as my dealer is exceptional in sales and service. As I can’t access TYD the sales guy calls me regularly and emails updates - even if nothing has changed.

I had a range issue with my Macan and they sorted that out whilst I had a curtesy car- they offered a Taycan but as I would have difficulty getting in and out I asked for a Macan. I got an ICE one and it really confirmed my view that EV’s are so much better - also It cost me about 2 months of home charging to drive circa 30 miles.

I’ve been told that Porsche are all over a dealer if they get a poor survey - anything below “exceeded expectations” is considered a poor survey.

This is actually so true.

I had issues with my data services and main user setup when my car was delivered, so I was asked to contact Porsche in Germany directly. The support was on another level compared to any dealer I’ve dealt with. They called me every 10–15 minutes, emailed every 2–3 hours, and apologized constantly because I couldn’t experience the car “to the fullest.” It wasn’t a huge issue, but it was nice to be treated that way.

The interesting part came when they asked if my dealer had gone through everything with me at delivery. I said, “Not really, they just logged me in.” The representative replied, “I’ll make sure this feedback is passed on.”

I didn’t think much of it until about 24 hours later, when I got both a call and a text from the Head of Sales at my dealership asking if everything was okay. Germany had apparently sent a strongly worded message to the general agent in Sweden, who then contacted my dealership about what had happened. Even he seemed surprised by how seriously Porsche AG took it.

My point is, dealerships can be hit or miss, but if you raise a legitimate issue with Porsche AG, they’re clearly not afraid to hold them accountable. 😂
