We need more forum makers to get their Cayennes EV and tell us what they value in theirs, what they wished additionally for but do not have, and also for our brave, candid ones to say that this specific option I purchased is neither necessary nor, in hindsight, was prudent. Lots more for all of us to learn yet.

Really difficult to say, hadn't had the change to drive loaners as I used to with my previous Macan's. 😂 I would say, a naked Cayenne is already well equipped as compared to Macan. Some nicer wheels and glass panorama roof is all you really need. Do I regret not stopping there, no. Do I wish for faster acceleration at times (I have base), yes. Do I miss sport + chrono, yes, ride is too comfortable at times. Race tex and carbon package are clearly not necessary, but I really like the feel and look, in particular with black leather. Passenger screen is hit and miss, don't like the look without but wouldn't order for functionality alone.

The Coupe has Sport Crono as standard but you cannot get an opening roof. I thought I would miss the (unavailable) massage seats but found the 14 way more comfortable than the Macan with massage. Maybe because it’s been so hot since I got the car I don't miss the opening roof - yet.

After having the Macan without a rear wiper I’m getting the glass treated as a wiper is not available on the Coupe.

As I’ve said elsewhere, I wouldn’t be without the rear steering.

I optioned up using my experience in the Macan - HUD, best camera, upgraded wheels (base Coupe wheels look out of place in my view), full leather (Macan was partial) best lights. All of which I don’t regret optioning. I would have liked the novelty factor of the electric doors but despite being on reviewers cars, they’re not available.

All in all I’m very happy with my choices, but I was looking for comfort rather than performance - hence the base.

Had no chance to test rear wiper yet 😂. I use the sunroof with aircon on quite frequently, love it but my consumption is far of yours so far. Macan matrix lights felt inferior to my previous car so optioned HD matrix as well, not driven at night once so far. How do you like them? I did like the Macan comfort seats but found the seats in Cayenne ICE less comfortable.

Interesting. We are all shaped differently, but we here have watched about six videos in which auto-media reviewers preferred the comfort of the Cayenne’s seats to the Macan’s Perhaps comparisons to 14-ways to 18-ways for some fo them? Perhaps again we are all shaped differently. I find the 18-ways on both to both be comfortable but of course the proof is not a short sitting inside in a showroom (for the Cayenne) but long drive comparisons.

Our forum friend here who has owned many Porsches, both 14-ways and 18 ways, just got to test drive with Cayenne with 18-ways. As did his wife. They both liked them — though only 20 minutes drives for each.

I’m a bit too wide for the 18 way ! The 14 way in the Cayenne are quite different to those in the Macan - I think they are nearer the 18 way sports seats as the bolsters are bigger but not too much to encroach - I suspect that because they are different that the massage isn’t available.

Incidentally, probably because the car is so quiet, I think the ventilated seats are much noisier - on full they sound like a window (or CHP’s roof) is open a little. Not annoying, just noticeable.

The 14-ways will have a new, improved 5-way message seat option for 2027. Sorry I can not remember who here posted this earlier and deserves the credit for the following, but thanks again for sharing these details on them.

“ 2027 MESSAGE SEATS: complemented by a new surface heating system & new massage functions. There are up to nine different Mood Modes to choose from: Dynamic, Relaxation, Travel, Entertainment, Urban and Focus are always available. In combination with the optional massage function, the wellness modes River Journey, Summer Dream and Thermal Spring are also availablep; significantly expanded the available massage functions. Now, 16 air cushions with increased stroke in the driver and front passenger seats provide an improved depth and extend the pressure massage to the seat cushion areas. For the first time, a special vibration massage is possible, with two actuators in the cushion and four in the backrest. A total of five multi-level massage programmes are available to choose.”

I posted it. It was in the original marketing material and I was wondering why they went to such great lengths to sell it but then removed it. My dealer told me recently that it looks like they may not be making it available in the configurator until 2027 - he may have just been making me feel a bit better having got my car without them !
