All the reviews are obsessed with the Active Ride. Have i now got to spend another £6,799? Does anyone have real-world experience with it?
I feel the reviews are 60/40 pro PAR. My experience with the Taycan is not positive for PAR. PAR does increase ride comfort a bit. I don't come away from riding in larger SUV's looking for more comfort. PAR would be perfect in a limo or a Waymo.

Can PAR make a vehicle lap a track faster? Yes but faster is not always more enjoyable. The PAR effects are counter to what seems natural and takes some joy out of the Taycan.

Then there is the cost, weight and many more complex mechanisms to fail.

Diskussion reminds me of rear wheel steering, some love it (me included), some don’t. I think the Taycan is a little bit of an outlier for RAS and active ride. Panamera active ride is amazing, but then it‘s a well defined 4 door GT. Macan is a hot hatch who profits from RAS a lot. Cayenne is also more of a GT than a hot hatch so likely active ride makes long distance travel more comfortable. That being said, where is the massage seat option?

Am I the only who finds the colour options in reviews kind of strange (in particular wheels) and limited (interior)? Was hoping for better. Seems Cayenne is fun to drive, so in my books reviews are all positive. As for the centre console, ferry pad looks like an afterthought. A good one though, I think the deep cup holders are needed so that you can rest your hand on the ferry pad. Cups would be in the way otherwise. Mercedes got lots of critics for ergonomics.

Makes perfect sense. Didnt though of the bottles blocking the ferry pad. Now all we need is some third party accessories to manage the space.

I’m sharing an interesting video about the upcoming Cayenne Turbo Electric.

👉 Make sure to watch from 1:05:00 — you’ll see the Cayenne driving on German highways at 270 km/h… and the driver’s excitement says it all about the experience!

Impressive to see an electric SUV reach this level of performance.

Well… at that pace, you’d better plan a charging stop every 150 km 😄

Did you have a chance to look at standard silver trim? Is this plastic?
The model I sat in had the standard silver trim, but I didn't give it that much attention.

Not at all. I was surprised by how unattractive their setups were. I mean, if they could choose anything, they could at least have changed the interior from black, but this didn’t really look well thought through by Porsche. I honestly wouldn’t want to be paid to spec those wheel and color combinations.

Brilliant review. Will need to watch in full. Thank's for sharing.

I could not agree more about some of the spec'ed combos. I managed to find one with the setup I was aiming for (just in the base for me and not Turbo as in the video). Not sure on the black now as I feel it loses some of the lines and definition on the side. I had the same issue with the eTron GT I have and went for a lighter colour in the end - it made a huge difference IMO.

Black is always give or take, plastic trims tend to blend in better but you loose contours. If you option Sport techno wheels, I think all colours work, in particular lighter ones. Without SportDesign package, colour choices are limited IMHO.

In the video the car looks very black, but I think the configurator is more accurate (showroom looks always very different). Have a look at the "off-road" Cayenne in black in this thread.
