There was a lot of discussion about HD Matrix lights but comparison to standard Matrix wasn't convincing. I ordered HD anyway as I found Matrix (HD not available) on Macan inferior to my previous cars. Drove on motorway yesterday night for first time, wow, it's an amazing peace of kit. The illumination of your lane (really, really accurate) is always on and frankly brilliant. It's not just a gimmick, I found it rather helpful and less tiering. Illumination of street signs is the best I have seen so far. In front of me was a M5 so could compare directly. Country roads were too busy to see advantage. I can only compared HD to Macan standard matrix, but well worth optioning if you like to drive at night.
