So, the panoramic roof adds less than 1% to the total weight then? Even if that’s the case, the aluminum (or whatever material it is) section of the roof that gets removed to make space for the panoramic roof would already weigh around 10–15 kg. In practice, that means the net increase is probably only about 10–20 kg, which is pretty negligible in the context of the whole car.

You also have to subtract the sheet-metal roof panel that would otherwise be there. That panel typically weighs ~8–12 kg (18–26 lb).
