Lovely... I really like the pop of colour with the seatbelts. I could easily make my way towards a Turbo price point by adding all the extras! Thanks for everyone for advice on here, it really helps to give real world opinion to counter the internet noise.

Hi everyone

I wanted to share the configuration of my future Cayenne Turbo Electric, which I ordered at the end of January.

Here’s my build:
https://porsche-code.com/PTSE8524

I’m based in France 🇫🇷 and I must say… I went through thousands of combinations before finally settling on this one

After a lot of hesitation, I chose Vanadium Grey with the Turbonite wheels. I was looking for something elegant, modern and a bit distinctive without being too flashy.

The final validation with Porsche is scheduled for February 23rd, so I’d really appreciate your thoughts before it becomes official!

What do you think about the spec? Would you change anything?

Looking forward to your feedback

Colour and gloss black SportsDesign look about right to me.

Turbonite window surrounds and wheels - not so much to be honest (sorry).

Quite like the black / magnesium grey interior (used to black / crayon) but all black is fine.

Panoramic roof + rails - remember that you can't add roof bars if no rails if that's a consideration. Not sure if you get the sunblind either (normally you expect so). Worth checking both?

Heated windscreen (depending on winters but I find it really useful and with the ability to preheat probably overkill).

Passenger screen I would personally skip.

...otherwise NICE!

My build. Currently told it will be a Jan 2027 delivery. Really hoping that comes in a bit when the dealers get their allocation. Lease deal through work so might have to wait for paying customers to get their orders first.

What a Beauty! What a powerful Beast! First two options I opened up were your Madiera Gold and the 21’ wheels (identical to what I have selected). I also concur with your RWS selection.

It is going to be so much fun to drive; hell, even jiust to stand back and look at it. I hope your timing works out just what are wanting.

This is my current build. Am I missing something important? Am I getting something I really shouldn't?

Not sure you need to pay extra for High Gloss Black door handles when they are already the same color as the car - Chromite Black Metallic - appreciate the other exterior items (some standard) which are in High Gloss Black and you may have wanted to match.

Personal choice but the wheels don't look right to me and really don't like the gloss black finish.

Black interior - too much black for my taste (I had a Taycan GTS ST in Jet Black Metallic with black / anthracite Spyders but kept the interior light - two tone crayon / black.

Seats - the headrests aren't adjustable in the Sport versions but I think they are with the 14-way Comfort ones - check with your dealer if this is important to you (same in Taycan so I opted for Comfort).

gasman93, clearly you like the all black look, one that many call a “murdered” vehicle. If that is what you like as it appears, you have done an excellent job in creating exactly that. Might you consider a couple of lighter accents to give you car what I would call a two-dimensional look. If so my recommendations, for I too am choosing the exact wheels as you but not spending the $1,300 to have them painted black, and as W1NGE suggested deleted the black door handles? I found go further and also delete the black window trim and the exterior mirror in exterior color, you have saved over $2,700 and gotten a full black exterior as shown below.

Porsche Cayenne EV Configurator available for 2026 Cayenne Electric EV - post your build! IMG_2497

Similarly for the inside, might you consider instead of “black for everything” one or two slighter lighter accents such as choosing thethe pure black leather instead get the black leather with turbonite accent stitching and the fee turbonite seat belts (those interior changes not costing anything)? If you wish to see how the black leather with turbonite accents would like if you have not already seen that look, there is this thread: https://www.macanevowners.com/forum/threads/🎨-interior-black-only-photos-thread.19017/

Again just suggestions as you asked. As for where you might choose to spend some or all of the now left over $2,700, never once have I been on the configurator for any model Porsche without having some additional options I wish I could have comfortably afforded. Best of luck whichever way you go, for whether you make even one suggested change or none, you are going to have one amazing rocket ship of fun.
