Total BS, I own a few and the Taycan is currently the MOST efficient of the ones I recently own. Yes there are more efficient ones, but the Taycan can get to over 3.1 miles/KW Hr, while the I-Pace never exceeds 2.5 miles/KW Hr.

Maybe one day car magazines will ACTUALLY review EVs properly.

The Taycan is one of the most efficient EVs based on real world testing, so the article is complete bs.

The iPace & eTron are both MUCH MUCH less efficient. Teslas are about the same as the Taycan, but some have a larger battery.

Cars with battery packs below 70 kWh are useless for any ranged driving and their efficiency is completely irrelevant.

Lazy, bad journalism. You have Motortrend saying the Taycan is the most inefficient EV and Edmunds saying it has 320+ mi range, two opposite ends of the spectrum and both equally incompetent & irresponsible.

I don’t love C&D but man do Motortrend & Edmunds make it look good.

I like to use kWh/100 miles, for more resolution. Mine's 26.4 and falling (will probably soon rise with cold weather on the horizon).

even though i am at 4.1 at 12k miles, i never cared about efficiency.

if i did, i would buy a motorcycle.

At an average of 19MPH no wonder. I have 10,000 miles, avg speed 27mph and 3.1 Kwh

Your average speed seems to be higher than most of us in the 3+ mi/kWh range. That would explain it, I guess.
