I am so sorry to hear that. In my opinion, this is unacceptable.Originally I was sold a scenario of a June Build slot and receiving the dealerships first Turbo Coupe. June soon slipped to early August and then late August and now late October for a November delivery.
To get the deal done on the Cayenne, I agreed to let them have my Taycan almost immediately. I have been without it since 9.04, expecting to be Taycanless 10-12 weeks. Sure, i've managed but that's not really the point when 10-12 weeks turns into 29 weeks and 5 days
Clearly, lots to discuss with them. I'll be paying them a visit this morning.
Totally agree. Definitely in the realm of entirely unacceptable now. The brand image point is spot on with how i feel about it too. Falling well short of how Porsche pitches itself within the marketI am so sorry to hear that. In my opinion, this is unacceptable.
I am really getting sick of these Porsche dealerships, because there are so many that are NOT living up to the brand image. It really doesn't matter if you can manage without it; it's just a matter of principle. What annoys me is that their obvious answer will probably be that “they can’t foresee different situations, bla bla bla” and they will probably throw a force majeure clause comment that is in the contract. I hope you get something of value in your conversation with them.
Annoyingly my sales assistant has a habit of strategically cropping the screenshots. I dont know if its deliberate for some reason. That will be stopping as of today... "just send me the whole F'ing thing!!"Matt you are really up against it. The screen shot doesn’t have the Actual Date column - is the exit compound an actual as well. Apologies for stating the bl**ding obvious, but 7 weeks post exit regular production is extraordinary And the dealer must be able to find out which components are causing it - do you think it’s the techno wheel issue. That may explain how the car could be built with the wheels fitted in the compound.
As you dealer is very poor - I’ll see if my contact at the local dealers can find out what the issue is.
