I bought (both cash) a Macan GTS EV and the Cayenne Turbo EV. Have picked up the Macan and have a May build date for the Cayenne.
I did get a bit of a sweetener on the deal.

Wait till December and you may get a free home EVSE / wallbox and 2 Porsche Experience Days - this was the offer on all Porsche EVs last December for cars bought or orders placed - dealer specific.

I have news! Coupes are coming very soon. I was offered an "early allocation" on a Coupe Turbo yesterday. I'm told June Build. July Delivery. But no idea on the price yet.
My Taycan goes tomorrow and i was offered a little bit of "deal" to make it happen. Deposit paid.(i've had to seriously manipulate the numbers in my mind, in order to convince myself its actually a deal)

I previously had a Coupe on order .
Unfortunately when reviewing the pre shots I was disappointed in the actual design -
It appears to be more saloon than SUV .
I currently run a Cayenne Coupe so I was looking for a similar design albeit slightly different bur definitely not saloon .
Also I preferred a sliding roof only available on the SUV and not a full moon roof which incidentally doesn’t have a sun blind !

This shape syre looks nice but must completely compromise the rear headroom thus the rear seat is somewhat impractical.

I wish i knew more... my local dealership received 3 "early" allocations for Coupes. One being a Turbo so i took it. June build, July Delivery. I suspect these allocations would ordinarily be dealer spec'd for the showroom but they've allowed me to take the Turbo.
Obviously i wont be able to spec my Coupe unless the configurator is live, so surely there must be the intention to have the Coupes on there some time this month?

I actually had no intentions of going for the Coupe, was more than happy with the SUV, however i'm 50/50 on the design. Both have their quirks.
I next to never have rear passengers and have never been interested in Pano roofs. Previoulsy had a Cayenne Turbo Coupe. It will suit me just fine.
Not having to wait is quite exciting too. No need to extend the Taycan Warranty now and I've never had much patience. I already spend too much time on the configurator as it is. I need locking in on a spec asap!!

Roof can be VLC - variable degrees of shade at $$$$ - presumably will be an option if non opening.

Actually this looks better than current ICE coupě IMHO.

Wait to see non camouflaged images.

The standard car has an option for a VLC roof that can also be opened. We can probably expect similar for the coupe.
