SportTechno 22" wheels — anyone actually getting a delivery date? Trying to map the real situation

Hi all,

Like several members here, my delivery has been pushed back due to the 22" SportTechno wheels supply issue.

My situation: Cayenne Turbo Electric ordered in France, contractual delivery end of June 2026, spec locked mid-April (SportTechno in Turbonite). I was informed only 3 weeks before delivery that the car is now expected "at best" end of August. Still not in production as of today.

I'm trying to figure out whether this is a general freeze for ALL SportTechno orders, or whether some cars are actually getting built and delivered. So if you ordered any version with SportTechno wheels, I'd be grateful if you could share:
  1. Your market (US / UK / EU...) and rough order date
  2. Current status: in production? built? delivered?
  3. Has your dealer given you a precise delivery date — and has it moved?
  4. If you were offered an alternative (wheel swap, compensation), what was it?
I keep seeing press/demo cars on SportTechno wheels in videos, so the wheels clearly exist — I'd like to understand if customer cars are moving at all, or if "end of August" is just a placeholder date nobody can confirm.

Thanks — I'll share whatever I learn from Porsche France in return.

Also specced SportTechno in Turbonite.

1. Europe - first order was November 2025, but updated to Coupe after its release
2. Production starts mid July
3. Was told delivery will be in late October/early November when speaking to my SA today, and yes, initially delivery date was set in August
4. Wheel swap was offered, but declined

Ordered a Cayenne with SportTechno wheels in standard silver and black in the Netherlands in February. Estimated delivery then was "mid-August", although it was certainly not set in stone, and they weren't able to give an actual delivery date. In May I heard about the delays for the SportTechno rims, and contacted my dealer. They said it was true, and the new delivery estimate was "mid-September". A few days ago I added the carbon interior package, and this pushed the date back to 9th October.

1. US market Cayenne Turbo. Build was locked very early (December 17th) as part of the market launch.
2. Already built (May 24th build date), currently on a boat to the West Coast
3. No precise delivery date, but boat ETA 7/10
4. N/A

Thanks a lot, all three of you — really helpful.

So the picture so far: EU SportTechno orders seem frozen (production mid-July at the earliest, deliveries slipping to Sept-Nov), while early-locked US builds did get the wheels. Looks like the available stock went to the launch allocation, and later orders are now stuck in the queue.

@Cayven Noir — one question if I may: when was the wheel swap offered to you, before or after your spec was locked? In my case I was told my configuration is frozen and nothing can be changed, so I'm curious whether a swap is actually still possible at that stage.

@Throb — interesting (and a bit scary) that adding an option pushed you back another 3+ weeks. Good reminder not to touch anything.
Keep the data points coming if others have SportTechno orders — and as promised, I'll share whatever I get from Porsche France.
