Right, I’m thinking that there are just far too many serious, down beat and saddening threads of late, so let’s have a bit of automotive fun and interest going……..

Question #1 - if you could change one/(1) thing on your current car, EV, mode of transport, what would it be. I.e. an opTimon, design change, wish they manufactured?

Question #2 - the reason why, a want, a need, a desire or a dream etc.

PS don’t get serious about it though, don’t want want those buddy scientists getting all tech with limitation of physics blah blah ?

I’ll start….

1 - EV with realistic V8 sound and vibration to suit
2 - I like the drive and power of EV’s but I REALLY miss that performance engine sound, miss it that much that I miss it everyday I drive that clinical EV

I wish the train that I take 5 hours a day to work doesn’t smell, get delayed, and isn’t cramped like a sardine can. The only bright spot to my commute is getting into the taycan to drive from the train station, home

As for why? Public transportation in America sucks. I just don’t want to subject my car to 90 miles of commute from the country side, through the inner city / ghettos, to where I work downtown

1) A 1,000 pound diet.
2) More efficient, quicker, smaller exterior dimensions. Puts a little more sport in the sport sedan (or CT, ST if that's your preference).

No clue how you manage this with current battery technology but you said to leave the physics out.

I’d love a car with driving modes to match every scenario - everything from ‘silky smooth RollsRoyce mode’ to ‘tractor mode’ to ‘I’m in a rally mode’ to ‘accelerate and corner like an f1 car’, oh and ‘family in the car drive like a Ford Mondeo mode’
?

A door opening that you can reasonably get and out of, I'm 6'4 and 210. Otherwise the car is superb.

When it comes to configuring options for the car it is too easy to spend 10k. Contrast that with a Kia sportage for instance ( and no I am not replacing my Taycan just considering a replacement suv). The Kia comes loaded with most of what you need or want with few options.

it’s Simple and cost effective!

They should just take all the small, obvious options that most people select (eg. electric folding mirrors, power steering, surround view parking.etc) and include them as standard.
Increase the base price by £1000 / £1500 if the bean counters are worried about margins, but just don't make it feel like you're nickel and diming the customer all the time.
