Kerb warning (no prior experience) - I like it with clear indication of tyres at risk. Little bit on the cautious side turning red at around 10 cm distance - maybe due to RAS. If you approach at a larger angle (rim not at risk) no red warning. So far so good.

Appreciate the detailed reviews CHP! Keep them coming

Well, I looked at some storage solutions on the internet and I think I found some that would work but need to do some final measurements.
Could you kindly share some links to the solutions that'll help with center storage?

Also, with regards to the kerb warnings, is there any settings in the PCM to activate this?

Let me first check if it works, didn’t arrive yet. If I remember correctly, you need to tick kerbs warning but may be activated by default. Clicked to many options lately to be certain.

Mood modes: More than just a gimmick. You can assign seating position to certain modes. That’s absolutely brilliant so I do not have to remember if I assigned sporty position to 1, 2 or 3 😂. It’s standard in UK.
Update, seat position apparently only works in park and not while driving. Back to 1,2&3 I guess. Damn safety implementation. Also why do they need to put permanent air bag sticker on passenger visor 🤬.

Does different mood modes sync with Spotify playlists? If so, do you have a list of these playlists?

Apparently they have special Porsche playlists, unfortunately I am going to miss out as I don't have Spotify.

Centre console, still an ongoing battle and not sure if I am going to come on top of it. There simply is no space (if both cup holders are in use) to leave you keys and smaller items like display cleaner organised. If you put cupholders in the higher position, everything slides beneath and is difficult to retrieve while driving. I think I will limit it to one cupholder for now and use the other for smaller items. Copilots would need to enter into an agreement to store and retrieve smaller items from glovebox if they wish to use the second 😂.
Quick update, got Pepita Thermos cup and Drinks bottle - Motorsport as present. Thought that's a little cheap, why not giving me a thermos drinking water bottle as well. Well, as it turns out, if you put Thermos cup in position one (next to iPhone) and Drinks bottle - Motorsport in position 2, you can close centre console entirely. Position one maximal bottle height around 187 mm and position two around 235 mm. Hope this helps buying water bottles before delivery.

Bellroy Tech Kit Compact arrived. Fits kind of perfectly in either iPhone compartment or on top of it in the void (snuff fit so shouldn't move and easy to remove when needed).

I consider the battle won 😇 . Looking forward to your ideas. Hopefully your cars arrive soon.

Your posts have been very useful and very welcomed. Thank you. Happy driving to you in your “S”.

We now have a Macan EV Turbo, and a Cayenne EV Turbo equipped the way we want wouuld be over $200,000 USD, e.g., so NO GO! Planning instead on a getting the “S”.

Question please regarding some “S” acceleration parameters:

*Enough off the line acceleration if you want to quickly get up to speed to get into another lane or make a soon and unexpected turn?
*Enough when you need to punch it to avoid an idiot from hitting you?
*For 20-60 MPH for passing another slower vehicle on a limited-length straight away country road to accomplish the pass?

Thank you again. And thanks in advance to sharing your “S”’s acceleration prowess.

I have the base. The base will do all of the above, unless the idiot behind about to hit you is driving a turbo :CWL:. The Cayenne EV is a big car, seating position in Macan EV and throttle response felt much sportier. I strongly suggest to test-drive the Cayenne, base maybe just enough for you to serve as GT and S may still feel disappointing compared to your other cars. I was driving a 911 base while waiting for my car, more than 200 hp less than Taycan 4s I had as a loaner for a long time but so much more fun to drive and easier to get in.

CHP, I am confused. Help us understand please for the title of your thread is that “My Cayenne S EV has finally arrived,” yet above you posted you have the base. Nothing to drive here in the west coast of the U.S.; in fact a large dealer just two days said it will “probably not be until August that we get our first ones, a base and a turbo and our S’s arrival probably into September.”

I didn't notice. I didn't create this thread, I think administrator moved my post and created new thread. Will try to change.

Was able to change thread to base  I only have the Cayenne now, but from recollection, difference between Taycan 4s and Macan 4s felt smaller than between Macan 4s and Cayenne Base. On paper there shouldn't be much difference between Cayenne S and Macan Turbo, you certainly don't get the acceleration kick from Cayenne base. Feel is more similar to Panamera hybrid.

Interesting. My car is on a ship that is scheduled to arrive July 5th to Benicia, and the dealer's tracker says the estimated delivery date is July 22nd.
