HD Matrix Headlights

This post is for USA (maybe Canadians) residents. The expensive HD Matrix Headlights (USD 1800) are said to be worthless for us because of archaic governmental rules but now Consumer Reports says this will change for the Cayenne. I cannot vouch if this is correct and wonder why Porsche would then still say the following in the Note:

But that article references a Consumer Reports Article from 2022 regarding a change in US regulations- which- obviously has not happened. I won't spend money on this until it was working in the US. Right now, it's a very, very expensive static cornering light.
