Can I ask how you already knew back in April that the SportTechno wheels were not available?

My dealer never mentioned any supply issue to me, and I only found out yesterday, just three weeks before the car was supposed to be delivered. I’m trying to understand whether this information was already visible to dealers or customers at that time.

I was at the dealers today and they confirmed the issue is with the wheels. A client had ordered a Turbo for June delivery - insisted on keeping the 22” and delivery now September. The sales guy said he had told all 22” were causing an issue not just the techno.

I knew because i locked the spec on my Coupe Turbo around the 23rd April. My dealer came back to me same day and informed me of the issues with Sport Techno. Briefly they were under the impression it was just Sport Techno in Turbonite but were quickly corrected to Sport Techno in general.
I'm not aware of any issues relating to other 22"...
I've ended up with the 22-inch Cayenne Exclusive Design Wheels painted in Black (high-gloss) highly polished with Aeroblades... and fortunately my dealer agreed to cover the price difference (£430 ish)

It confirms that some dealers were already aware of the SportTechno issue back in April and were able to inform their customers early enough to change their configuration.

In my case, I only found out yesterday, three weeks before delivery, which is what makes the situation so frustrating.

Which wheels have you ended up with? did you not get to select them yourself in the end?
