The Mission E had no B pillar, but the Taycan ended up with a massive B pillar, because rollover testing matters and batteries are heavy.

Doubtful that DeLorean will pull it off.

Koenigsegg Gemara does have similar sized openings, but it’s not a BEV with a massive battery to support. The Gamera’s doors cannot be opened in a parking garage… or most people’s garages for that matter.

The nice thing with this car will be that if you don't like the options you selected, you can just travel back in time, to change your car configuration.

Full Time Travel will not be available at release, but you can pay $10k for it now and it should be out by the end of the year.

Despite my eye being calibrated to Porsche design, I think this car looks great. I hope they are able to bring it to production. Candidly I am surprised that this company still exists. Their success is likely to be driven by their ability to get to production rates at one of the most historically challenging times to launch a new product. I hope they are successful.

My bet is when that comes out movies won't exist any more and we'll be having stories beamed righ into our consciousness

I quite like it, but will be astounded if the specs turn out right, it looks like that and is hitting showrooms in 2yrs.

I kinda like it. But of course I will wait to see how different the production version looks from the concept, which I like a lot. Not canceling my Taycan GTS ST order at all for this obviously, but it's interesting that they are targeting the Taycan as a direct competitor to this car.

It's based on the ITALDESIGN DaVinci. As a DeLorean owner I prefer the original + this one's not stainless.

It is electric - albeit w/a 3 cylinder engine.
