All Cayenne rear seats do an electric partial recline.

Note please: Updated post info based on two more videos I saw recently.

Here is the latest Cayenne configuration we put together.

However, we will wait for the 2027 crossover version that emulates the rear of the Macan EV, e.g., this picture taken by Thomas@Autogefühl at a Porsche facility showing the Cayenne EV crossover’s side profile.

Ours would be in Madeira Gold Metallic.

Lots of usual options like PTS or contrast stitching missing in configurator. This is the first time I buy a Porsche close to press release. Do they usually show up in time before car freezes? I like colour scheme below (from Porsche website).

Hi, would need advise. I am a huge fan of Matrix LED but was slightly underwhelmed with Matrix HD LED on loaner Taycan (2 months) in comparison to my Mercedes. Cayenne spec (64k) look similar to Taycan so would appreciate some feedback from Taycan owners. Strangely, I like non HD better (visually looks cleaner).

Also, am I the only one not liking chrono package? Cockpit looks rather busy already and all shapes are a variation of square. I would have expected a hexagon/octagon like shape with digital instruments to match overall appearance. I know this is part of the Porsche DNA but this is from an area of analog dials. On a race track I would want information in HUD anyway.

Funny enough, I’ve been thinking the same thing about the HD-Matrix headlights — I still can’t decide. I added them to my spec after trying them for two months on a loaner Cayenne E-Hybrid, but coming from Mercedes (like you), they’re not exactly mind-blowing. Most of my driving is out on Swedish countryside roads, though, so I still feel like they might be worth having. On my current Cayenne E-Hybrid loaner with the standard LED-Matrix headlights, the main difference I’ve noticed is the lack of lane-centering. Otherwise, the upgrade doesn’t feel dramatic.

Regarding Sport Chrono, I actually hadn’t thought about it the way you described. Now that you mention it, the design does feel a bit “bulky.” Do you think you’ll miss the Sport Plus mode? Keep in mind that you may lose a bit of peak power if you only have “Sport,” but you can still set the chassis to a Sport Plus-like configuration manually in the settings. So the only real difference might be that slight power reduction. This is with the assumption that it operates like the Macan EV without sport chrono.

I ordered mine about 6 months before the official release of the Macan EV. That was two months after the "announcement of the car". From what I can remember, they had all options available already including PTS colors etc. So maybe it will be updated soon, otherwise they don't have any parts for those options.

Are you ordering in Monteverde?
