I've done the standard Uswith comparison with actual usage data and the numbers came out virtually identical. Not sure i can be bothered with the hassle of switching right now anyway. Shall hold tight until Trump gets bored in the Middle East.I would have said OVO then Octopus but hadn't noticed the doubling of rate. A quick check on the Octopus site suggests that my Porsche Mobile Charger Connect (PMCC) isn't on their supported list from which I infer you then have to buy a new compatible one (which I won't do).
OVO communicates directly with the Porsche PCM (historically at any rate) and so it worked perfect for me. OVO require that either the car or EVSE (charger) is compatible - the Taycan was compatible so I fully expect both the Macan any Cayenne EVs will be too.
I'm EV-less at the moment but likely to return next year so not a conundrum right now for me. It would take a lot of charging to make the replacement EVSE breakeven if I were to jump ship.
Suspect Octopus rates will rise too given the price cap and general crap state the world is in.
I'm very used to the OVO setup i have right now. Not learning something new is worth a few pence per kW/h
