Looks like rear head room is reduced at least 7.5 cm. cD maybe 0.23 so now about 630 km highway range at 110 kph.

When do we all expect a GTS variant to be available? should be the usual sweetspot for price, performance and spec?

It’s usually either 1–2 years after the initial release (around April), or about 3–4 months later when they launch the S model and the Coupé. I completely agree that it’s typically the sweet spot! I would’ve waited and gone for that (or the S) myself if Porsche hadn’t pushed me into it because of my lemon Macan EV.

I really like the ICE Coupe (back looks like Macan EV), but images so far leave a X6 aftertaste.

Don't think GTS really works for Cayenne. It's a big heavy car. Current 911 GTS for sure car to buy but performance differences between 4S, GTS and Turbo in EV's are small. I was driving current gen Taycan 4S (basically previous gen GTS in terms of power) as loaner, not to different (performance wise) from Macan 4S except extra kick from gearbox. Handling is an entirely different story. Really don't see the point of Cayenne GT except for top trumps card games either.

I've configured a Turbo multiple times and would go for it but i really feel like it's at least £15k more than i need to spend for an unnecessary 0-60mph time. A GTS varaint will be plenty quick enough but i feel the base variant would be noticeably sluggish compared to my Taycan GTS... and most important of all, for the GTS, i hope they sort out the nasty Turbo rear diffuser area

I'm not so concerned with the dynamics of a GTS, more the spec, appearance and definitely price point. The new Macan GTS has definitely hit all of these so im optimistic

Will be interesting to see. I had a 4 loaner for a couple of weeks, sufficient power but 4S was just more fun to drive (while it was driving ;-)).

Cayenne is 0.6s slower from start with launch control. Power difference at overboost is 55kW. In normal mode the difference its only 30kW with similar torque. Cayenne base should be close to 4s in daily driving.

Macan 4 4.9 s 650 Nm
Macan 4S 3.9s 820 Nm
Cayenne 4.5s 835 Nm

Macan GTS 3.6s 955 Nm

This Turbo rear diffuser is an eye sore.

I mention in this thread Per Redshift Performance there will be an aftermarket ECU available to bump power with a release around August. Redshift have had great success with the Taycan. Besides bumping power they can tweak throttle mapping and increase recouperation.

My guess is they expect to have a test vehicle in July and also expect that the Cayenne will use a discrete powertrain ECU like the Taycan. Without a discrete ECU the software tweak is not easy. I wonder why they do not offer a solution for the Macan EV? It seems the Cayenne would be more similar to Macan than the Taycan. The base Cayenne uses the same motors as the Macan 4S. Hmmm.

I heard the Macan battery is maxed out at Turbo rear motor so they can't combine front and rear engines. Not sure how reliable source is.
