I have a build for a 2026 Algarve Blue Cayenne EV Turbo… and in my view the Cayenne EV Turbo Coupe is just no comparison in terms of looks. I am coming from a Taycan Turbo GT and while I know my Porsche dealership/rep will be upset I would rather say the hell with the full size Cayenne Turbo EV and instead go with the Cayenne EV Coupe… my Cayenne was set to arrive in August and if the Coupe ends up being a month or two later I’ll survive ha.

Does anyone know when these allocations will actually become available?

IMHO, I think the Cayenne EV non-coupe version looks better. The Cayenne Coupe ICE version is better looking in comparison.
If buying such a big-sized vehicle, then the version that has practical advantages in space, etc. is preferable, I would say.
But going by the list of vehicles, you have under your profile, I guess you prefer all sporty-looking Porsches :)

Thank you for your perspective! I honestly like the Cayenne EV itself definitely as well—but my partner Samantha drives a Cayenne-S ICE so to me that’s enough space and we also have a massive Defender 130 wrapped in satin that’s a pure tank for when we need something to haul all 4 maniac kids around in :)

We’ll see if my Porsche guy can make this happen I hate to do this to him but the murdered out look on the Cayenne Turbo Coupe EV to me is just so bad@$$ looking:

Been living on both the Cayenne EV and Taycan CT configurators… Between the two, over 150 different configurations, including recently over 20 Cayenne EV coupes (both the “S” and the Turbo). We are extremely impressed by the Cayenne EV, — that is except is exterior looks. While my wife and I agree with the preceeding post the the Cayenne EV coupes’s non-Turbo rear is more pleasing to us, we still are not in love with its overall looks. As we do not need an SUV for carrying capacity (neither for increased inside and in the cargo areas), we continually compare the Cayenne coupe in both it S and Turbo forms to a Taycan 4S Cross Turismo and a Taycan GTS.

Pricing comparisons, basically the same fully loaded interior on all four EV versions we have been onsidering, each massively configured except for no Burmester nor upgraded brakes in any, though all with PAR and every other performance option, below are our pricing comparisons — of course with our unique option choices.

Cayenne S coupe versus Taycan 4S CT are just $500 apart. A Cayenne Turbo coupe is $2,500 more than a Taycan GTS.

We are zeroing in the clear (to us) looks and handling winner, the Taycan GTS for its real world under 3.0 seconds is fast enough — though clearly Cayenne’s 2.4 seconds is a whole world faster. Of course the Cayenne has other major advantages too, e.g., such as RANGE.

Most likely however there will be a 2027 Taycan GTS Sports Turismo in our garage but if our equation were different with our needing a larger interior, such as having two or three larger folks often sitting on the rear seats and/or needing the Cayenne’s much greater interior rear cargo area, our conclusion would be different.

YMMV, for each of us has our own “use case.”

I just officially put in my order for a 2026 Cayenne EV in Algarve Blue, but I’ve been staring at the Coupe configurator all morning and the "flyline" is really starting to win me over.
For those who have made the jump from the classic SUV to the Coupe before—is the trade-off in cargo space noticeable for daily use? I’m also curious if anyone knows how flexible dealers are being with 2026 allocations right now. If I decide to shift from the base EV to the Coupe, am I looking at a totally different allocation waitlist, or can they usually "flex" the build?
Algarve Blue is definitely staying, but the silhouette is currently up for debate!

Original question was "when" ~ no separate allocations just any Cayenne EV slot can be either the box or the coupě.
