With the introduction of the 2027 model year, the all-electric Cayenne can be customized more extensively than ever before in the history of the model line. Porsche is bringing the Paint to Sample program to the Cayenne Electric, a new generation of optional massaging seats and, for the first time, offering optional electrically operated doors.

ATLANTA. Porsche is expanding its range of personalization, comfort, and convenience features available for the all-electric Cayenne. In addition to new design options, other technical innovations are also finding their way into the configurator. The updates are available across both the Cayenne Electric in its classic SUV format and the striking Cayenne Coupé Electric.
Intelligent convenience: electric doors with automatic assistance
For the first time, Porsche is offering optional electrically operated doors that bring an additional level of comfort and convenience to everyday driving. Activated with a brief pull on the door handle, servo motors automatically complete the opening or closing of all four doors. The doors can be controlled from both inside and outside the vehicle, through buttons in the cabin, the door handles, the Flow Display of the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system, and remotely via the Porsche Digital Key. Drivers can also close the driver's door automatically by fastening their seat belt or pressing the brake pedal.
The system is designed to work seamlessly in a variety of conditions, including on inclines. Sensors continuously monitor the area around the doors and, if an obstacle or a person is detected, the automatic movement sequence stops. In combination with assistance features such as the exit warning system, the doors are also prevented from opening if other vehicles are approaching. Manual operation remains possible at all times.
New massage function: five programs with selectable vibration massage
A new optional massage system integrated with 4D audio enables a completely new massage experience that is combined with music. The driver and front passenger seats each feature 16 air cushions and six sound actuators in the backrests and seat cushions, creating a deeply immersive sensation. Five massage programs are available, each with adjustable intensity levels and selectable vibration settings. The sound actuators integrated into the seat create a four-dimensional musical experience in the vehicle.
Both the desired massage program and the intensity of the massage can be adjusted via the central display. In addition, the 4D audio function can also be activated independently of the massage function. The distribution and strength of the vibrations can also be adjusted. The massage function including 4D audio is also integrated into the Mood Modes. There are three additional Wellness Mood Modes that combine massage, vibration, and curated soundscapes to create a more relaxing in-vehicle experience.
105 total shades for a high degree of individuality
The Cayenne Electric now joins the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur Paint to Sample program, giving customers access to an even wider range of exterior finishes. Combined with the existing palette of 13 standard and optional colors across the Contrasts, Shades, Dreams and Legends categories, buyers can now choose from 105 paint colors. This variety offers customers even greater creative freedom.
New interior accents expand the range
For the 2027 model year, Porsche is introducing the Extended Package Interior Style, which adds additional leather-trimmed surfaces and decorative stitching in Delgada Green. Customers can further personalize the cabin with options such as leather and Race-Tex seat consoles in the front and rear, as well as Race-Tex upholstered door sill trim panels, all available with matching contrast stitching.
The Interior Style Package, a ‘Director's Cut’ from the Style Porsche design studio and Exclusive Manufaktur, is already available as an option for all Cayenne Electric derivatives. It comprises a multitude of refined interior features that combine to create a harmonious two-tone design of black and exclusive green tones.
Together, these additions offer even greater flexibility for customers to tailor the Cayenne Electric's interior to their individual tastes, creating a cabin that is both highly personal and unmistakably Porsche.
Timing and availability
The 2027 Porsche Cayenne Electric models will be available to order now with deliveries beginning in Q1 of 2027. Pricing remains the same from 2026, as seen below, and excludes $2,350 fee for delivery, processing and handling. Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) shown excludes taxes, title, registration, other optional or regionally required equipment or dealer charges.
