I will continue rant about this: The cabin feels cheap.. soo much cheap plastics all over the cabin.. even in places that you would touch regularly like the center console grab handles. Even the door handles, although covered with leather, you can feel the cheap plastic underneath, as it as a it is hollow and bends a bit if you squieeze it.

This would be more suitable for a higher level spec of Toyota RAV4.

I assume it's an hyperbole, since the RAV4 interior does in no way compare to the Cayenne EV interior. I do understand your complaints though.

I'm a big Toyota fan, I've driven Toyota for years. No nonsense vehicles, great value for money and great dealerships here in the Netherlands. Comparing it to the Cayenne EV or any Porsche though? Nope (unless the quality had a massive jump in the past years).
Now if you said Lexus, I'd say "maybe" :)

Ok, maybe the problem is comparing with Range Rover Sport (older generation), and the fact that I expected better quality from Porsche compared to Land Rover, but got disappointed..

Everybody has different views, but did you sit in a demonstrator before delivery. I wouldn't compare my Range Rover and the Cayenne - except to say the RR was the most unreliable car I have ever owned - it was from new.

I had a Lexus RZ - good car but very poor EV. Top of the range Takumi - leather not even an option - Ultrasuede aka cloth seats

I ordered it sight unseen, based on positive reviews and Porsche’s reputation for quality. The surveys I’d seen even ranked Porsche above Lexus, with Land Rover at the bottom.

Unfortunately, my experience got off to a rocky start: the exterior lighting control module failed on delivery. The dealer replaced it within three days, and Porsche gave me an additional four years of warranty as a goodwill gesture.

I’m very happy with how they handled it—though I hope I won’t need the extra coverage!

I somehow think you wouldn’t have got an extended warranty out of Land Rover. Hopefully the rocky start remains just that and the car is trouble-free from now on.
