I am in the exact same position. Ordered in Jan via Tusker. The dealer is still estimating October but I am not hopeful. I am temtped to change to the Coupe S as I know the dealer has a free September slot available at the moment, and I am starting to lean more towards the Coupe.
I was considering swapping out too, my nervousness is whether that then sets me back further. I do wonder whether the Porsche dealers are giving build slots to direct clients and important people with the lease companies just being bumped down the queue and getting leftovers. They can’t even give an indication when a build slot will be allocated let alone a delivery!

Is your lease cost locked in ? I ask as there may be a price increase after Aug - the new model year. Dealers may be treating their clients as a priority.

In their terms and conditions they do reserve the right to requote if the price changes, not sure whether they actually will

The price increases are between 3-5% so it is usually nothing anyone would like to cover if it does.

The UK standard Porsche conditions allow you to cancel if there is a price increase so if you cancel the lease company will then.

Some years ago I leased a new Merc model and the delivery went back and back. I found the dealer they were sourcing the car from and they offered earlier delivery. They said they were looking after their clients who would get the car serviced with them.

I’m also in a similar position. Ordered through Tusker in Feb for a Turbo when they were advising 24week lead times and my current estimate is late Dec 2026 but still on hold awaiting build slot.
to cancel the order with Tusker there is a £5k +VAT charge. Not sure if that will be waived if the price increases for the new model year as has been suggested.

yes, they will let you cancel for no cost if they requote due to price change.

I was quoted 24 weeks too, I’ll hold out seeing as there’s nothing else in really want… IX is ugly, Range Rover Sport/Defender will be a shocker on BIK, EX90 a bit dull!

In my case they contacted the dealer who waived the£5k cancellation fee, I am just awaiting confirmation before I submit the order on the coupe. Also tempted to jump from base to S... the longer this goes on the more expensive it becomes! I will be in a Turbo before this arrives!

That’s good to know.
I’m also in the same boat. Nothing else I really fancy just now. Might just have to take the hit to get what I want. Drop an option or 2 to manage the price difference.

Today I learned that my original estimated delivery of Mid-July has slipped. It had already slipped to early August. Now I'm being told Mid-September. "Delay campaigns against Alloy Wheels" is the reason apparently. Extra frustrating for me, as I already had to sacrifice my first choice wheel and now I'm delayed due to wheels anyway...

I learnt today that my delivery has gone from mid to end of July. I wonder if it is the wheels, although mine are just 21” RS Spyder Design not 22”.

Key comment by Billbuck about many Euro countries including up to a 20% VAT. In the U.S. most states have a significant tax that is not included in the MSRP, nor in the configurator.

I got the impression that Alloy Wheels in general are causing delays. Which seems quite ridiculous. Of all the 1000's of components that have to come together in order to create the finished product, who would think Alloy Wheels could cause such an issue.

I did push back and question whether there might be any opportunity to now amend "locked" orders. In theory if the delivery date has moved so significantly, then surely all other dates can move too. I'm sure i would learn to love the wheels i ended up with but its the one option that's been bothering me

Doesn't hurt to ask. Totally agree with above and if it's bothering you already I would at least exhaust all options for peace of mind.
