Wireless Phone Charging Doesn't Work (Cayenne S EV)

Ok. In that case, I think something must be wrong with the charger in my vehicle. I just tried it again several times yesterday. 50% of the time it doesn't even start charging. The other 50% of the time it begins charging, but then after a minute or two I get that error message.

Regarding "Active smartphone apps", I use CarPlay and listen to Spotify, podcasts, etc. If the charger doesn't work when apps are active, that's ridiculous. Never heard of such a thing.

It works when Podcasts and the like are active, this is clearly a hardware issue that is faulty in your car and I suggest you call your dealership for an appointment. It happens sometimes and the good part is that gets replaced fairly easy.

I found out that some regions got the MagSafe magnetic circular mount, which is very reliable. Unfortunately mine comes with a non magnetic charging tray. Although it’s angled and lined with anti slip, my phone may go out of place while driving. So it only works time to time. I guess this is a thing that cars are never good with. But happy to use the cable on the higher powered usb c sockets
