I really like that.Wasn’t planning on getting a watch on this vacation, but my wife really liked it. Glashutte Original isn’t quite a mainstream brand, but their watches, IMO, are a great value for the money. Great finishing. In house movements. Some high complications. (Chef’s kiss emoji)

The chronograph seconds counter is the centrally-mounted seconds hand. The sub-dial at 3 o'clock is a 30 minute counter, and the counter is at 12 o'clock below the logo is chronograph hours. The chrono indicators all time a single event, and can be used to time events up to 12 hours long - parking, smoking a brisket (I'm in Texas), or how long a soccer match actually takes (because it's NOT the advertised 90 minutes! ?). It's also a flyback chronograph using the reset pusher at 4 o'clock.Question on the hour timer.
Can you set it in conjunction with the 30s timer to show elapsed time - to use say parking meter / cooking?
That's all very useful... and in a watch that is very legible for just telling the time. The chronograph seconds counter is the centrally-mounted seconds hand. The GO is indeed comfortable, if a bit heavy on the bracelet. It's 14mm tall and 199 grams. A friend has an Alpine Eagle and it's another great watch, though the GO movement is more finely decorated. The Chopard is similarly large at 44mm x 13mm tall. The GO Seventies is 40mm across, but being square it wears like 42-44mm round watch, so it's "full size" for sure. I have the leather strap incoming, and I'm excited for that to lighten the overall feel.I do love the colour!
When I am next changing watches it will be on my shortlist with the Chopard Alpine Eagle.
Is it comfortable to wear?
I am a big fan of GO movements, classical regional engineering detail without Lange price.Wasn’t planning on getting a watch on this vacation, but my wife really liked it. I really like the Panograph! It's totally unique in how it displays elapsed time. I can't recall ever seeing one in person. The current version in gold is so classy, but a bit pricey.I am a big fan of GO movements, classical regional engineering detail without Lange price.
I have a Panograph I bought 20 years ago.
I do not like the modern fashion for large watches (which does seem to be waning thankfully).
I prefer smaller myself. I do have a watch this big but it has far more information on the face. What do you think? IWC Big Pilot 43 Spitfire in titanium.![]()
