STOP IT!!! 😭 I've spent an hour this morning finding images of the Exclusive Design Wheels on actual cars... maybe i can convince myself to love them.. It's definitely the Turbonite element that i crave. Stupid Gloss black :CWL:

Pending exterior colour, I like those better. But's that's just me. Selected those when I chose algarve blue. I personally don't think Techno in turbonite will look great on all exterior colours.

The best example i've come across of Turbonite and Vanadium is Tomi Auto's 911 Turbo S...
If nothing else it demonstrates how poorly the configurator renders Turbonite

Totally agree, those look stunning. Would take them in a heart beat. Don't forget all EV wheels have this rather big rim, I have the Spyder and in gloss black it kind of fades away. Have a look at window trim in comparison to wheels. Both are Turbinate but look completely different. It's all about lighting and reflection. My advice, get standard Techno if you can (you have a turbo so dealer should really swap them on delivery to make you happy) and choose to get them painted if you don't like them at a later stage.

I wanted to order Techno's in Turbonite but have 'compromised' (in a first-world sense) to the RS Spyder's to keep my build slot rather than delay the order. Having said that, like @Matt-Taycan my order appears to be delayed despite the wheel swap! At least according to TYD.

Asked for a price for a set of Techno's separately in case I want to swap later and it's just shy of £7k plus VAT. Includes rims/tyres/tpms

The irony of the whole wheel/delay debacle is that i also accepted the compromise so as to keep my build slot otherwise the next slot with Techno Turbonite was September. I'm delayed to September now anyway

Agreed when it comes to the option of having wheels painted. It's not something i have much experience with but i get the impression it can be extremely successful these days

Yeah I'm now in the exact same boat with the same dealership as you I believe!

Guys, look at the bright side! Your September delivery vehicles will be MY26 and October deliveries will be MY27 thus all MY26 vehicles will have taken about a 12% depreciation hit simply because they are now "one year old vehicles" thirty days after birth. This matters to us who purchase outright.

I don't understand why Porchse didn't just call all deliveries MY27.

Leicester? I can't fault the dealership really. Very much out of their hands.

On the plus side, i did visit the dealership today for another look at the their Cayennes. Their base Cayenne does have my interior. Was great to see it in the flesh for the first time. Very pleased with!

Agreed, no blame on Leicester from me and the sales exec I’ve been dealing with has been great. It’s in the hands of the factory at this stage.

Are their demo’s available for test piloting yet?

I think in the UK the reg plate counts for more than Porsche Model Year. If Matt doesn’t put a personal plate on then in future years a 76 plate will have more value than a 26 one.

I suspect most buyers of used Porsche SUV value the later plate.

They are. They have the Turbo in Mystic. Base in Vanadium and rolling off the trailer yesterday was a Base or S in Napali Blue

Yes, i'm going to focus on the positives. It's always nice to have the brand-spanking new plate and at least i haven't had to wait 16 months like i did for my Taycan. In the meantime i will live vicariously through those lucky members on here with the earliest deliveries and occasionally dropping into the showroom

You have plenty of amazing cars in your garage. The wait shouldn't be too hard on you :CWL:
