Redshift Performance informed that around August they intend to offer a remapped powertrain control module. I'm not sure how much power gain can be had but for their Taycan modules the gains are very impressive. In addition they can optionally increase recuperation torque and removal the throttle response filter. Max "overboost or launch control" power is always available.

The base Cayenne Electric uses the same motors as the Macan EV 4S. Front motor + Rear motor max output is 235 hp (175 kW) + 355 hp (265 kW) = 590 hp (440 kW). I think it is safe to assume this is a realistic target for a base Cayenne EV with the Redshift Performance PCM. In fact there is probably room for a bit more power. A 46% increase in power will drop the 0-60 mph accel time from about 4.5 s to about 4.0 s.

Something else to consider is full power on a Cayenne Electric equipped with the Redshift Mmodule is 100% of power is always available so no launch control business. The result is an even larger functional power increase for most use cases.

Does it void factory warranty?

Taycan owners remove and replace with original for service visits and nobody has lost their warranty. In the USA the manufacturer must prove a modification has caused a fault before it can deny a warranty. Of course, this could be a major hassle. My dealer told me if I didn't have them do my annual oil change on my Boxster within 2 weeks of the planned date the entire vehicle warranty would be voided. I could fight but took the easy route and that's exactly what the stealerships hope for.

Not really sure how they do this. Looked at installation out of curiosity, you need to remove your ECU, then send it to redshift and reinstall your unit after received back from redshift. During that time you need to leave your car unlocked. Costs 4k.

I was thinking about this for my Mercedes, 350d and 400d had identical engine but Mercedes just used different mapping.

Warning: My SL had a speed limiter at 250 kmh - usual in Germany. Local garage run into difficulties with the infamous SBC breaking system and accidentally removed speed limiter. Car didn't feel save over 250 kmh. Car manufacturer always adjust suspension and aerodynamics accordingly. Engine mapping doesn't.

Further, don't think it would result in similar insane HP increase for Macan. Cayenne unknown.

The pulse inverter used on the front axle of the Macan 4, Macan 4S and Macan Turbo utilises silicon as the semiconductor material. It conducts a maximum of 350 amps to the electric motor.

The rear-axle pulse inverter in the Macan and Macan 4 conducts a maximum of 480 amps; in the Macan 4S this is 600 amps and in the Macan Turbo it achieves an impressive 900 amps.

You do not need to ship your ecu. With Taycans they send a pre-programmed ecu that you swap in. You keep the old ecu and swap back in if needed. The swap takes 15 min....in a Taycan.

The numbers I quoted are the base power numbers from Macan 4S motors in various configurations. How is that an insane increase? The base Cayenne EV will use these motors and inverters while having the same battery as the 1000+ hp Turbo model. BTW using your inverter availability 350 +600 = 950 A × ~800 V = 1020 hp.
